Chapter 1: Apollo

"I swear upon my name..."

There were fires everywhere. The once high and majestic ceiling that carved the images of the mighty Gods and Goddesses, now rests still around them. Flames continued to engulf the once glorious household of Olympus taking its once magnificent sculptured statues down.

"No matter how far you are..." A bruised and wounded hand slowly reached out to gently touch the cheek of the woman who was lying still on the ground with her dead eyes trying to focus on the man who was also lying reversibly in front of her. One could tell how much affection is shown upon how the man caressed the woman's cheek.

"No matter who you have become..." the man struggled to move his body in attempt to close the distance between them, however, he failed as his body refused to listen. He laid helplessly eyeing the woman in front of him.

"I will find you..." tears fell down from the man's eyes as he sweetly caressed the woman's cheek with his thumb.

"...protect you..." he once again tried to move and suceeded in moving an inch closer to the woman.

"And love you unconditionally, just like how I have always love you in this era." He continued to move until he could finally reach her body.

"Remember..."

"...You are my life, my everything and you will always be. Not only on this era nor the next, but also on the endless generations that are to follow as we have now reached our final breath." He gently kissed the woman on the forehead with such strong affection, savoring his last moment with her.

"Rest now, my Love. I'll be here. I'll always be here by your side. I will never leave you nor abandon you."

Another loud sound could be heard not far from where they are. Flames have successfully destroyed the remaining remnants of the Gods & Goddesses' lair. As he took one final look on the woman's face, he gently rested his forehead on to hers.

"I love you, my dearest. My heart is yours forever. Let's meet again...my precious Selene." He smiled and slowly closed his eyes with his tears continued to fell, not knowing that a tear has also fell down from a another eye.

"A...po...llo..." she said weakly.

Minutes have passed and the life from his eyes have completely disappeared.

"I...love...you..."

...eternally."

Year 20XX

"Hey Gavin! Let's go have some ramen!" A brown haired man said.

"Yeah, sure."

It was a rainy day on Loveland High. Classes have finished upon the chime of the bell. The once quiet corridors was immediately filled up with dozens of students either walking or running to where they are supposed to go. As Gavin and Minor walked through those same corridors, dozen of girls suddenly squealed as if they have just seen an idol.

"Kyaaahh! Gavin-sama!"
"It's Gavin-sama! So handsome!"

Such a noisy place. Gavin thought. He closed his eyes in annoyance.

"Ah! Gavin-san!" Gavin stopped on his tracks and turned to face the source of the familiar voice.

"Oh! Kiki-chan! What's wrong?" Minor asked on behalf of Gavin.

"President asked me to relay a message on all members of the student council."

"What does he want?" Gavin asked.

"Please assemble on the student council hall at 4pm for a meeting." Gavin looked at his watch. 2:30pm. There's still plenty of time.

"Understood." He turned his heels and walk off again along the corridor.
