Betrayal?

The gang congratulated Y/n and her amazing work. They had won this part of the war! But it wasn't over yet. After their little celebration, they ran to shoot their enemies. Y/n threw her trident. It hit... Dream.

The man with the mask looked back at who shot him. Y/n? But why her.. the love of his life.. no it couldn't be.. why? Why would she betray him? Questions ran through his mind. Sapnap looked back at him, holding his stomach in pain, and said "Dream! C'mon we gotta go-" He was cut of guard by what Dream was staring at. "Is that.. Y/n?" The male questioned. He stared at his best friend, then he glared at her. She was part of L'Manburg. She was their enemy, even if she was his best friend. "Dream, c'mon we've gotta go now." He whispered intensely as he grabbed Dreams arm. Dream stood up, but he didn't take his eyes off his girlfriend. He was still hurt that she betrayed him, but they had to go. His legs started running, he and Sapnap ran to Ponks tower where they met the rest of the gang. The thing is, they also had a secret weapon.

The L'Manburg citizens got slightly confused as to why their enemies ran to Ponks tower. " We have to go to Punz's tower, look it's the same height!" Tubbo piped up. The rest agreed and ran to the tall tower. "Alright now we have to be careful. The likely hood of this being a trap is incredibly high." Tommy warned. He pulled out his pickaxe and mined the floor. Nothing. Just dirt and a block of black stone floating in thin air. A relieved Tommy placed the block back and started placing ladders. Tubbo and Fundy followed up, while Wilbur, Y/n and Eret guarded below. Tommy placed enough ladders to reach the ruined staircase. The trio arrived at the top of the large pillar, they placed more blocks underneath them for support. The male with fox ears loomed over the tiny wall. His hands gripped the cool stone.

"They're at the base of the tower." Will informed as he and Y/n made little cobblestone towers. Then, Tubbo came up with a brilliant idea. "We can shoot them there! They won't be able to shoot us from up here." Tommy, Fundy and Tubbo fired their shots and just like what Tubbo said, Dream Team and Punz couldn't shoot them! Unfortunately, Dream could shoot Y/n and Wilbur. Will and Y/n crouched down, they watched as Dream, Punz, George, and Sapnap 'retreat'. Again, L'Manburg won!
"Gentlemen and lady, I think we need to go back to our home. Thats where we.." Eret said. "Eret I think your right." Tommy agreed. "Alright then, lets head back." Y/n smiled. When they all met at the base of the tower, Fundy was invisible, only his diamond leggings revealed.

With a good laugh, the team began to walk back to L'manburg. "In L'manburg I have grinded for a- uh- secret weapon." Eret said. There was a tone in his voice that made it sort of suspicious. "Well what is it?" The gang questioned in unison. "I'm gonna need you to join me," Eret started slyly "it's the element of surprise." Tommy and Y/n gave him a look of confusion. "You'll see" Eret grabbed his shovel and dug the dirt in front of him. Surprisingly, there was a secret hallway made of stone. It looked like it was newly made. Y/n eyed it suspiciously. There was something about it that didn't seem right. The 6 trudged in the mysterious corridor. "Eret, what the fuck is this?" Tommy laughed. They hopped down the steps "L'manburg strong!" They cheered. Then, they faced a room. There was a sign in front of them that read:

'The Final Control Room'

L'manburg stopped to read it. Y/n looked around the room. 'Weird..' She thought. Y/n quickly shook her head and walked into the room like the rest. She trekked her way to a chest that had 'Y/n' engraved at the top. The young woman unlocked it and peeked inside.
Nothing.
Then she heard a button click and Eret's voice say,

"Down with the revolution, boys and ma'am."
"It was never meant to be"

This is where it gets real messy.

Dream, Punz, Sapnap, George, all came rushing out of the walls. Splashing many harming potions, digging their swords into the bodies of the other team. While Eret just stood there. Tommy tried to get away but it was too late. Everyone Y/n ever loved.. gone. She looked back and met eye-to-eye with Dream.

*FlashBack*

Y/n strolled around the server, glancing at the environment every so often. She loved this place, her home. Someone caught her eye, it was her best friend, Sapnap, with someone she didn't particularly recognize. The h/c girl hurried to the two boys, she realized this man had a mask, a white circular one to be exact. "Hi!" Y/n greeted. The boy looked her, his green eyes met e/c. "Hello!" He replied in a sweet voice. "Hey n/n(nickname)!" Sapnap said. The girl walked and sat down beside the two. "Sapnap, who's this?" She questioned. "Oh! This is Dream. The dude who pretty much found the place." The raven haired boy introduced. "And Dream, this is Y/n! My best friend." Dream took the hand of the lady and pecked the back of it. "It's a pleasure to meet you." He smirked. "Thank you, for all your service." She humoured him. " If it takes fighting a hord of zombies for us to meet, it will have been worth it." Dream flirted. "I'll leave you to it!" Sapnap announced as he waved his goodbye. Dream and Y/n were left there, in silence, sitting on the cool rock. They stayed there until a familiar British voice screamed "Dream!" And from the distance a tall brunette with white goggles appeared and waved. With an instant, the blond stood up from his spot and winked at the girl beside him "I'll see you later." She grinned and also walked off. The image of his mesmerizing green eyes never left her mind. Another week passed, and the two kept meeting and greeting. Y/n was back, strolling around, she was so distracted by the place she stumbled into a face she has seen at least 3 times this week. "Oh my god. Dream!" She beamed.
"We keep meeting." The duo giggled in unison. "Well, I'll probably meet you sooner or later." The boy chuckled. After that, he and Y/n went there ways. Y/n knocked on the spruce door, and the face of Sapnap came into sight. "Hey n/n, what're you doing here?" Her best friend asked. "I have so much to tell you!" Y/n gleamed. She told him everything, "Sapnap, his eyes got me helpless." Y/n melted. She told him that she had feelings for Dream. Again, they met, but this time it was different. Dream had a bouquet in in his hands while Y/n brought a box of chocolates. They gazed at each other and both started to turn crimson. "Well, I guess this is a date?" The man chuckled under his mask. "Well I guess it is." Y/n giggled. They walked towards each other and the unimaginable happened. Dream lifted his mask up and pecked her lips. Y/n stood there in shock. A few minutes of silence, when Y/n chirped, "So, we're together now? Like boyfriend and girlfriend?"  "Yeah." Dream replied. 

A year went by, and Dream went to go visit Y/n who was staying with Sapnap. He knocked on the door and Y/n opened it. "Dream!" Y/n exclaimed as Dream kissed her forehead. "Hey baby! I have something for you,  for our one year anniversary." "Really?! I don't have anything for you though.." she said her smile fading. Dream lifted her chin up and kissed her. "You don't need to get me anything, love." He said. "You sure are a dream." She teased. After that sweet moment they shared, he pulled a red velvet pouch and opened it. What came out stunned Y/n. It was a gold chain with a ring hanging from the bottom. "Its gorgeous!" She gasped. Dream placed it around her neck and Y/n looked the ring.. It was a silver ring. A simple one. But what made it special was, engraved in it was the word 'promise' the colours blended perfectly green into f/c (fave colour). "I have the same one." Dream smirked. He showed it to her. "its a promise necklace!" She twinkled, "So, do you promise to stay and love me forever?"

"Yes. Forever."

*Flashback over*
The 4 boys made a pathway for Dream to get through. They were snickering and fighting over on who's stuff they're getting. Y/n drew out her sword, ready to fight. Blood was everywhere. Dream roamed to Y/n, smiled and hugged her. This action made her think that she could've trusted him. Slowly, her arms went up and wrapped them around Dream. Tears started to fall out of her eyes. Gripping tightly to his armour, she started to sob. But she should've known. She should've known she couldn't trust him.

"I'm sorry." Dream whispered. Tears formed in his eyes and then, the netherite blade moved its way into Y/n chest. Blood trickled down her mouth. Dream walked, backwards, into George, sobbing. Y/n held her chest. She looked at up at Dream. And with that, she disappeared in a cloud of smoke.
