Your house: Ravenclaw
Your status: Pure blood
Age gap: You're the same year, and she doesn't like to let you admit that you're six months older.
Family: Katie Bell's younger sister, just one grade below her.
How you met:
You had been browsing through the library all morning, looking for a new book to read. You had been through almost every section, and were debating on taking a look in the restricted section.
Just before you could decide, you heard a small yelp from the shelves over. There was nobody else in the library except you and this person.
You frowned, and walked around, finding a Gryffindor girl with brown, wavy hair. She had just swept off half of the books by accident, and her face was bright red. She was frustrated.
"You alright?" You asked her, walking over and helping pick up a few of the books she knocked off. She huffed, and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear, before collecting the last of the books.
"No, I am most certainly not. Harry and Ron expect me to find them some book while they go off and do who knows what! Like I want to do all the work!" She angrily placed the books back on the shelf with a thump. "And I can't find it, I've been all over."
"I mean, what did you expect from boys? They couldn't even cast a simple spell if you asked them to." You joked, as she turned to you, a small smile growing on her face. Her cheeks remained red, but for a different reason now. "Maybe I can help. What's the name of the book?"
"I've already been everywhere. I don't think it exists." The girl told you once again, as you smiled, and cleared your throat.
"I bet I could find it." She looked over to you, and raised an eyebrow playfully. She smiled, and laughed lightly, like she was testing you.
"Are you suggesting you know the library better than me?" The girl asked you, as you shot her back the same testing eyebrow raise and shrugged.
"Maybe I am." You grinned at her, as her eyes broke the glance, falling back on the shelf quickly. "What's the name of the book?"
"Mythological studies of Muggles; and when best used in literature." She told you, as you tapped your chin. You had just returned that book, which meant it was sitting on the return cart, waiting to be re-shelved. But she didn't have to know how you knew that.
"Follow me." You smiled, walking past her as she turned. She shook her head, grinning, and encouraged you by following.
"There's no way you could possibly know where it is off the top of your-" The girl started to tell you, but stopped as you walked to the return cart, holding it up. "Head."
"I told you I could find it." You grinned, walking around the cart and over to her. She was watching you with shock, as a small smile crossed her face.
"I don't understand. How did you know it wasn't on the shelf?" The girl smiled at you, her cheeks a light pink now. You shrugged.
"A great magician never tells her secrets." You winked playfully at her, as she shook her head, smiling at your smirk.
"Alright. Thank you." She reached forward to grab the book, but you held it back. Her eyes wandered to your face, watching as your smile became a smirk.
"Your name first." You told her, as she raised an eyebrow, putting one hand on her hip. She was reciprocating the stubbornness.
"And why exactly must I tell you my name?" She held her chin high, grinning, as you shrugged. You looked down to the book, and then to her.
