The arrangement

***Betty Cooper to the principals office***

Betty pov:

After I hear this announcement I rush to the bathroom knowing it was Malachi and the ghoulies. My dad and him have this arrangement where I have to marry him so that he can be the most powerful gang, it doesn't make sense to me because how am I gonna help. I've always tried to get away from him because he is always trying to kiss me, and sometimes shows up to my school to come get me but I always hide from him.

****Betty Cooper to the office now****

I knew that voice anywhere, it was Malachi's. I stand up and walk towards the office knowing I have no choice because if I didn't he would hurt me. I enter the office and see Malachi and some of his men standing there staring at me waiting for an explanation." sorry I was in the bathroom" I said looking at ms. Bell. "Hurry up we need to go princess, we have some business with the serpents" he then grabs my hand and drags me out ,"ouch your hurting me" I wince in pain because of the squeezing on my wrist" does it look like I care princess, were running late"Malachi says and loads his gun."w-why do you have a gun?" I stutter." we have a little surprise for the serpents and your my little hostage" " why do I always have to be your little pet? I don't even want to marry you" I say slightly shouting," because your dad and I agreed that I get to marry you once you turn 18 ,until then you are my personal assistant for my jobs whether you like it or not" He then throws me in the back of his car and starts driving.

Jughead pov:

I was at my trailer sitting on the couch scrolling through Instagram when I get a phone call from Toni,

* on the phone *

t- Jones you gotta get to the wyrm, malachiis here with this girl and he says he needs to meet with you.

J- toni slow down who's the girl, is he threatening her or us

t- he has a gun to her head and says he'll shoot if we don't do what he asks, and I think its Hal coopers daughter

J- k I'm on my way keep him busy

I arrive at the Whyte wyrm and see Malachi and his men with a blonde girl that had a gun to her head." well well well, Malachi long time no see" I say walking towards him. he slowly turns around, I then lock eyes with the blonde girl and it seems as the world stopped, a feeling I had never felt before." hey jones, stop looking at my girl"Malachi says as I snap out of whatever trance that was. I scoff" if she's your girl why do you have a gun to her head?" I question and see the blonde smirk" yea Malachi why do I have a gun to my head?" the blonde says turning her attention to Malachi. " Betty I told you to shut the fuck up and let me do the talking" Malachi snaps back at who I'm assuming is Betty.

"why because you didn't want me to blow your cover because we all know you wouldn't hurt me, your future wife" Betty says with a smirk. Malachi releases the gun from her head knowing that everyone heard that remark. " future wife huh? who would ever want to marry you" I say knowing that Malachi treats women horribly like they are toys." Thats buiesness between me and her father so stay out of it" Malachi says, his words intrigue me, why would his love life with Betty be between him and her father. " we are gonna go now I have some business for blondie and I" Malachi's words make Betty freeze. Malachi drags Betty out by her wrist.

Why did Betty freeze at those words and why was she outing him infront of their rival gang?
