Chapter 2: Hanging

"I-I'm sorry for bothering you! I will be taking my leave!", she said, standing up and taking her leave already.
"W-Wait!", I said but she already ran away. Maybe I startled her.
"Well, I guess I'll go back", I said to myself, walking to my favorite spot, and reading my book again.

Hours Later

"*sob* *sob* , that was an amazing story", Yes, I just cried because of a book. Because of books, I can see how amazing, how beatiful, how bittersweet, and how painful it's like love someone. See? You can learn in books.
"It's getting dark, I should head home", I said, standing up, stretch a little, and walk away.
God, I love summer break!
Then I start walking home.
Streets, people, smoke, buildings, I can see them everywhere. City life.
I walk more further and finally reached my house. A mansion. A spacious, massive, house. But....who needs a mansion when someone barely lives in it. My grandfather would go on business trips, the maids are always here to clean, and me.
I hated it, since father left. He left. Leaving me without a father figure, leaving me hanging to the expectations of my grandfather, leaving me.....with no one to lean on....
Even if I tell my grandfather he would just tell me "Your gonna be fine"
"It isn't a big deal" "Cheer up". See?
This is why I closed my heart to anything. To anyone. He hasnt even show a little interest in it.Who knows if that person you gave your trust, will break it. Who knows if you love someone, they'll love you back. Who knows?
I learned that I have to do anything by myself, and myself alone. No one can help me. I CAN do anything by myself.
