Location. : New York, The East River.
Time: 7:46 P.M.

It was a snow day in New York. The day was growing dark and the city was still alive.
As the day grew darker
The East River is a saltwater tidal estuary in New York City. The waterway, which was opened the public to the pass-Byers on the overpass bridge, and the boating docks that covered both sides.
One late night fisher was docking his boat at the pier. With his crew of three men, as he jumped onto the wooden pier. He was a man of old age, seeing many things within his life, but what he was to find next was something that he would never guess.

As one of his crew tossed the rope to tie to the peer, he makes his way to the close shore. Kneeling down glancing at the shore. His eyes widen a bit.
A woman laid halfway in the water her upper half on the rocks that made up the small shore.

" hey! I found someone !" The old man yelled, he jumped down to the small shore rushing to the women. His eyes widen a bit to see the women.

There a woman laid face down on the shore, wearing an old torn dress, her skin exposed a bit showing her very thin body. Her skin was a light gray, her hair black, greasy, and wet, a pair of horns placed on her head.
The old man did not even try to touch her, fearing what that thing was. No longer considering it human, he looks towards the boat with his crew. The two men made their way to the woman, one standing by the old man's side, taking out his flip phone beginning to call someone. He walked off a bit to get a clear call, instead of waves crashing in his ear.

The other man knelt down pulling the girl out of the water, checking her pulse. With two fingers placed under her chin, then he takes her long arms placing two fingers on her wrist. " No heartbeat," he said looking up at the older man.
The older man staring at the lifeless body of the tall woman, he did not even realize how tall the woman was until now. Standing taller than both of the men.

" what is it..."

" looks like a demon...or a Halloween decoration..." The younger man replied back to the older man.

The other man came back over, putting his phone away. " the cops aren't coming, they did however call another crew...they asked us to stay put until then."

The three stood there by the women, the youngest of the men who had placed the phone call looks at the woman. he was just staring at the lifeless body.

Time: 8:03 P.M.

A large garbage truck pulled in, the three men seeing the lights. they all were seated at the dock. they had placed the body on the land but covered it with an old blanket. It only covered the top half of the body. About 5 more cars pull into the graveled area surrounding the area. So no one else could enter.

Men in black steps out going to the truck, the door opened to the truck.

Once the bright lights showed who was in the truck. Four figures stepped out. One woman not older than 30, black hair bob, light skin, narrow eyes, her attire black. The only thing resembling color was the cross necklace that adorned her neck. She stepped out with a handgun at her side, keeping her hand on it as she stepped onto the gravel.
Next, was a man, or presumed to be a man, he looked like he wore a clunky outfit with a clear headset, not showing any feature except steam/smoke. He walked out along going straight to the three men.

"Guten abend, gentlemen we under you called us, under the statement or a creature found in the waters?" the man spoke, his voice mechanical but hints of a thick German accent. The three men just sat there on the dock unsure of what to say. Choosing just to nod.
Soon stepped from the truck what looked to be a blue fish-man, with futuristic gear around his neck, he held a book in hand as he stepped out looking around, going over to the body. Then stepped outlast the man himself. Everyone knew him right about now, the tall red man. Hellboy.
He looked around, having a cigar hanging loosely from his lips. He looks at everyone walking behind Abe.

"Why did I have to come." He spoke up before the fish man.
The fish man also known as Abe Sapien looks at him " because it's our job. We were called to investigate."

The three surrounded the covered body.
