Driving to Montana, I really didn't know what to expect but trees and the occasional deer in the road. Which there definitely was a lot of trees, that made it look like there was no civilization there. Tree's surronding both sides of the skinny, slim, road that my car drove on.
If anything I just hoped it was better then where I have been. I wasn't looking for love or looking for friends, I was looking to try to get my schooling done, and then be somewhere else. Montana had just met the requirements.
I ran my hand through my long, wavy brown hair, as I sighed heavily. My house should only be a few miles away from where my car was driving now. It was told to be isolated with a few houses around it. Hopefully, they wouldn't bother me or come over to say, 'Welcome to the neighborhood, here's a cake,' because in that case, they would be recieving a slammed door in their faces, and the cake laying in my trash can.
I wasn't much of a people person as you could see. I never really talked to pople at school, with the exception of a few people. Like, my best friend Damian, for who the life of him couldn't get that I was leaving and not coming back to the small town, we had grown up in.
Damian was my best friend and was always there for me no matter what. He made going to school bareable, that I had someone to talk to. Plus, he was the only person that new about me being a witch, and yet he still decided to be my friend anyway. So for that, I thanked him. He was cute, with his blonde hair and green eyes, nice built and everything but, he just wasn't my type.
Although I never really knew what my type was. Of course, I had dated a few guys but it never lasted a long time at all. At the most six-seven months. But other them that I never really had a serious boyfriend, that I really did love.
As expected my house, was a few miles away and I made it there in five minutes at the speed I was going. Driving up slowly, making sure thaat this was indeed my house, and someone elses. It would definitely be arkward unloading you things and it isn't even your house. I realized that it was and pulled my car into the driveway.
It was a small little house, as it looked like on the picture. It was a two story though and in a Victorian style. It had black shutters, and a white shengles. There was steps that was made out of brick and led to the door. Around the house were trees just like there had been when I was driving there. It was going to do for now.
Getting out of my car, I took my keys, popping the trunk so I could start to unload all of my things that I had had. I took the heaviest box first and carried it over to the door, where I unlocked it with a little bit of a struggle, but finally got it. Taking one last look before going inside, I looked horizontaly from my house, and saw a much bigger house that was there.
The house looked like a mansion, that could fit fifty or more people there. Cars lined the outside of the house, and people walked in and out as they pleased, occasionally looking at me with curiousity, probably wondering why I was staring at the huge house.
I tore my eyes away and brought my boxes inside, sitting them down on the nearby table, that looked like the dining room. The inside was small. In the middle, was a staircase that led to the second floor, and on the right side was the dining room, the left side was the living room, and the kitchen being in the back of the house.
Walking back outside to retrieive a box again, and doing the same routine I had done before. I leaned down get a box and the stood back up, and felt that someone was behind me. Then I felt someones hand snaking around my waist and holding my protectively. My eyes widened. The person kissed my neck softly and then I heard that it was a man. And he had said.
"Mate." The man growled.
