After Party

Jencruval launched its spring collection today and the rewards of a successful collection is of course a huge party.

" yes I'm very excited to be a part of this event " Rue lied to the journalist.

See, Rue used to be a nice girl. She used to love what her parents did but ever since her mom replaced her with a drop dead gorgeous country girl, she became bitter. Who could blame her? She did after all have the best job - Jencruval's Publicist.

As Rue approached the bar to get a Cosmo, she almost tripped and fell at the feet of the most handsome guy she's ever laid eyes on (and she's dated Zac Efron so this guy must be out of this world).

Luckily I didn't trip , she thought to herself, although I wish I did.

She turned around and the guy was staring at her, as if he could read her mind. He then smiled and introduced himself

" Hey there, I'm sorry for staring but I couldn't help myself. " , he said in the most amazing voice ever.

" Uhm .. its okay ... "

Rue couldn't understand why she was struggling to speak. This is unlike her, she speaks for a living.

It didn't take long for them to start getting comfortable and drinking off each others straws but in the background Scott's mom was watching them very carefully.

Scott's mom owns the rival fashion house, Bensimone. She and Rue's mom have been at each others throats for years now and what her son saw as a pleasant encounter with a beautifully strange looking girl, she saw as an opportunity to sabotage Jencruval.

Her eyes glittered with mean fantasies and when Rue and Scott left the party together, she delighted herself in champagne and smiled at Rue's mom.

Julie, Rue's mom, knew that smile and could have never prepared herself enough for the events that would unfold.
