Emeralds: a Staubrey fanfiction

Chapter two

Stacies pov
"Earth to Aubrey" I shouted. The blonde had zoned out whilst celebrating and now everyone was leaving the stage and she didn't know.
I wonder what she's thinking about. She seemed deep into whatever it was.
"Sorry stace, I was daydreaming. Let's go"
She's so beautiful especially when she loosens up with people. She's the best person I think I've met. She's so caring and loving and respectful. And maybe I might of fallen in love with her whilst becoming a Bella. Not everyone sees it but Aubrey has a heart of gold and it attracted me to her.
"Umm Aubs, would you maybe wanna go back to my dorm for the night?"I was nervous as hell to ask her but I need to let her know how I feel sooner than later before it's too late.
"Yeah of course, could we get some takeout too? I'm starving" I hear her soft spoken voice reply.
"Sure, how does Chinese sound?"
"Amazing!"
-skip to when they are in the dorm eating"
"Aubrey. Can we talk please?" I ask nervously, my hands are shaking and my heart is beating so fast that it could jump out of my chest.
"Stacie, is something wrong?, you seem off" Aubrey asks me, worry is written all over her face.
I tried to answer but nothing was coming out, so I thought...why don't I just kiss her?
"Umm I don't really know how to say this so I'm going to show you. They always said actions speak louder than words"
Without another thought, I delicately pulled her face towards mine and placed my lips to hers. Then I felt it. She kissed me back. Did that mean she felt the same?! Before I knew it the soft kiss had finished and Aubrey had tears streaming down her face.
"Aubrey is everything ok?, did I do something wrong" I start to panic.
Before my head went into the freak out mode I heard a small mumble,
"Can you just hold me please?"
And that's what I did.
I held Aubrey as close as I could and we eventually fell asleep in eachothers arms.
