"Haru watch out!"
She gasped her body jerking forward as she reached out for her stomach. Her shaky hands became wet as splotches of red filled her vision.
Everything came in a blur as she fell to the ground, pieces of broken glass adding to her injuries as they pierced her.
Blue lights and the cold feeling were the only thing she could make up, well except for the pair of hands craddling her body.
"Shit Haru, wake the fuck up!"
Her blurry gaze was switched to his face, not recognizing who he was but she reached out to him. Her thumb grazing his cheek ever so gently.
Then her world turned black and the feeling of spiraling down and falling made her panic, until everything stopped.
"Wake up..."
"What are you saying I am awake"
Wake up, it chanted. Suddenly she could feel fear engulfing her form, red lights contradicting the blue ones she saw earlier. Her breathing was cut short as she felt herself being choked.
She clawed at her neck not feeling anything there but she could still feel the force stopping her from breating.
Voices swarmed her head, going fast then going slow. Growing quiet then shouting suddenly, tears pricked her eyes as she started to lose hope-then the voice came in a whisper, almost inaudible but clear.
"Wake up"
Haru jumped up from the couch, her breathing ragged as sweat glistened her forehead. She looked around the room, tensing in alert before relaxing-memories of that night filling her head.
As sudden as relief came it went away, she hugged her knees sobbing quietly-even though she forgot Jisung next to her.
She could still feel it, the feeling of death welcoming her into it's arms. The cold spreading across her body as her eyes became blurry with tears.
She could taste the salty water in the corners of her mouth as she sniffled. She slowly brought a hand to her neck, the feeling of a hand suffocating her imprinted on the back of her mind.
"You know, if you're going through something you can tell me"
The voice of the boy startled her as she chocked back a sob. Her eyes once again started to water in the realization that she in fact wasn't alone.
"Are you ok?"
His voice was groggy and deep, as if he just woke up from his slumber.
"Yeah I'm fine, I'm sorry for waking you up"
Haru sniffled, but she was cut short when Jisung stood up sighing harshly. He crawled next to her, wrapping her up in his blanket while pulling her closer to him.
"You know what I hate the most? Liars, so shut up and tell me what happened"
She felt the waterworks start before she let them out completely. Jisung patted her back softly, his hands travelling to her dark locks to try and soothe her.
Her body pressed against his as she shuddered in the cold. The awful memory of her nightmare not seeming to want to leave her alone.
An arm wrapped protectively around her petite waist, while his fingers tangled with her dark locks. Jisung's eyes flickered to the girl in his arms who was breathing heavily.
Gasps and sobs escaping from her lips every now and then. He tightened his grip around her softly humming as he rocked the both of them back and forth.
Her erratic breathing soon calmed down, her chest heaving up and down as she snuggled closer to his warmth.
"Jisung?"
"What?"
"Do you have any fears?"
The boy stopped for awhile lost in thought, he shook his head after a good minute. Haru nodded feeling her eyelids starting to get heavy but she didn't want to sleep-afraid that the nightmares would return.
Jisung seemed to notice as he began to hum a sweet melody, running his palm up and down the girl's back.
"Don't worry I got you"
