A Zodiac Tale

Nightmare

Cancer was sleeping in his dark room alone. He dreams of a charming girl who turns out to be an evil and bite his neck. He always feel like there is someone who watches over him.

In the morning, he woke up. He always feel a presence of someone. He is not even aware of his past.

Cancer's POV
I feel a bit uncomfortable wherever I go. I try to not think about these kind of things but they always get popped up in my head. I go to wash the dishes to distract myself from those thoughts. Suddenly I hear a small whisper in my ear that sounds meaningless. 'Shall I go to the church?' I feel a bit kind of scared in this house. 'Is there something negativity surrounding me?' 'A Ghost?' I widened my eyes. 'No no no. Lord please protect me always', I prayed.

I can always sense danger beforehand and predict weather condition often correctly. Haah, my six sense power. I chuckled.

I went to the church.
"Hello Father!"
"How are you doing my son?"
"Not so fine"
"What happened my son?"
"I feel someone's presence in my room but I stay alone. Suddenly I get whispers and goosebumps that shivers me out of fear. Every midnight, I wake up. I sense a negativity, Father"
"Don't worry my child. God will always protect you"
I sighed but then I nodded.
"There might be really some evil powers surrounding you. But you don't have to worry about it. Instead if that evil tries to harm you, you have to fight it"
"But how can I fight it alone. It could be very powerful"
"You are never alone. Since you came here, God will definitely help you"
"Thank you so much, Father!"
"God bless you, my child"

I was getting my way back to home. In the mid-way, I sensed something wrong. Not good. I heard a thunder, then I came to know that it was actually because of the change in weather. I was driving and suddenly I saw a lady. I stopped and came out.

"Hey are you alright?"
No answer. She was turning back. I could just see her beautiful hair.
"What are you doing here in this sullen road?"
Again no answer. I thought of getting into the car.
"It's okay then I am going back into the car"
"Excuse me", a beautiful voice said.
"Can I get a lift?", she said.
"Of-course", I turned back and then..... I couldn't tell how beautiful she was. She came near me while I stared at her. Well, I distracted myself somehow. We got into the car.

"What's your name?", I asked.
"Gemini", she smiled and said.
"Oh"
"Where would you want to go?"
"Wherever you want"
"Excuse me, I-I didn't get you"
"I am finding for a room in an apartment. So in whichever apartment... You know what I mean"
"Okay. In my apartment""
"Oh, so you stay in an apartment"

We talked for a long time. She seemed to be a very cheerful person and very good at talking. Me, such an introvert, talked with her, a stranger, that too for a long period of time.
