hello!

it is me, the author!

so, no one directly told me this but i thought about it.

in special chapter number 1 i believe (it also may occur in other chapters but i'm not sure.), i made donghyuck call renjun and chenle l*ng l*ng. i genuinely apologize if i've offended anyone and i unpublished the book so i can change it. i really thought it would be funny but it's not.

racism against asian people is so normalized and i don't want to add onto it. and if you personally don't feel that it is offensive, that's because of how normalized it is.

i obviously didn't think things through when i did it and now i regret it a lot...

no one has personally messaged me or commented that it was offensive (at least from my knowledge no one did) but i still feel the need to change it.

i'm not asian, i'm african american and as a fellow poc i know how offensive stereotypes can be.

these aren't necessarily the same things but whenever someone called me something like "shaniqua" or someone made watermelon jokes to me or they joke about how the couldn't see me because the lights were off, it really hurt my feelings.

i don't want to make people feel the way i've felt. EVER.

i'm changing them and then i'll reupload the story. if there is anything else that may be offensive and/or something that personally makes you feel offended or upset, please comment or message me personally.

i hate this book but i will definitely force myself to read this and change what i need to change for you guys.

wattpad is supposed to be a safe place, i don't want to make people feel uncomfortable.

I REPEAT: i want everyone reading this to feel comfortable. i want to make sure you guys are okay and make sure that this is enjoyable for you guys too.
