Bakugo wandered through the woods on a surprisingly cold July night. The reason why he was here was a little foggy, probably due to the amount of blood loss. But the parts he could remember were enough to clear up that it wasn't good.

'Come on you damn losers.' He called to some of his people. He was the leader of a small village in the middle of the woods. They never traveled too far away, but they didn't mind that. Since there was forest surrounding their whole village, no one really knew they were there, and the people who did pass by stayed and that was not many people. 20 at the most.

On this particular afternoon, Bakugo had gathered some people to go hunting with because they were running low on food, but it was never hard to find food where they lived, normally at least.

Him, Kaminari, Sero and Mina started to pack their weapons and whatever food they caught in sacks to carry on their backs. Bakugo didn't carry one because all he needed was a simple blade and he'd be good. 'Sorry Bakugo but unlike you, we actually have to get mentally prepared for this.' Dunce face whined. Bakugo rolled his eyes and walked out of the weaponry room of the 'Big House' they like to call it.

He stood by his favorite tree (Not that he'd ever admit that) and stared into the great unknown as he waits for his idiot friends (He would never say that out loud either). A slight breeze blows the young mans ash blonde hair from his forehead for a second before settling back down to its natural messy look.

Finally the other idiots come over to where Bakugo was standing. 'We're ready to slaughter some innocent animals!' Mina exclaims happily. Sometime Bakugo thought she was messed up in the head. Probably dropped when she was a baby...or thrown.

'Whatever, just be quiet. Night is falling fast.' The blonde said turning and stalking into the forest.

Usually they would've caught something by now, but nothing. None of them has seen an animal since they've been out here, not even a squirrel. 'Where are all the animals?' Sero asks after a moment of realizing they've been out here for over an hour and a half. 'How the fuck should I know Tapeworm?' Bakugo says heatedly.

They have wandered too far from their village, Bakugo was about to tell them to start heading back when they heard trampling of heavy feet on sticks and leaves. They all hoped it was an animal of some sort but what animal was that heavy? Before they could pull out their weapons and defend themselves, the thing leaped out from behind the trees revealing itself.

Nomu.

Before any of them could react properly, the Nomu back handed Bakugo and and sent him flying through the woods. He heard Mina's scream before hitting a tree at full force and passing out.

That brings us back to the present. After waking back up it was 100% dark outside, the only light was the faint glow of the Moon. He felt the blood pouring out of the side out his head making him feel very lightheaded. He forgot which way he was walking and accepted a long time ago that he may never get back home to his village.

I'm going to die out here...

Right there and then he was about to break before he heard deep, heavy breathing. He didn't know what it was actually. Maybe it was just the wind, because what animal could breath that hard. Not even Nomu.

He decided to ignore it and sat down on the ground waiting for his fate. He looked up at the stars while he listened to the breathin- wind. If this is the last thing he saw he was happy it was something as beautiful as the sky. His mom always told him that when she dies she wants to be one of those...a star. So now when he looks up he hopes his mom is looking back down.

We'll see each other soon, right mom?

He started to let his eyes fall slowly not wanting to die yet but who can argue with fate? His eyes were almost closed until his saw slight movement from the corner of his eye. He began to feel hopeful and panicky at the same time. Maybe someone was here o save him, or something was here to kill him.

He question was quickly answered when he heard a sad, low roar coming from a few feet to his right. Behind the trees. The same place where that breathing he tried to convince himself was wind was coming from. He pulled out his knife as he stepped closer with a slight wobble due to his head injury.

He slowly stepped into an unnatural opening in the woods and almost dropped his knife. Before him lye a forty foot dragon.

What? That's not-? But. Dragons are myths.

Fear rocked around inside of him as the dragon picks his head up at Bakugo stepping into his view. The blonde prepares his self to be scorched by turning his head and squeezing his eyes shut. But it never comes. He slowly looks back up at the dragon who has his head cocked to the side in a cute way.

Bakugo made the crazy decision to not look at the huge dragon as a threat. Because he's accepted the fact that he thinks he's hallucinating. There was no way he was actually seeing a dragon, they're not real. It's impossible. Like physically.

Bakugo steps toward the huge creature. He'd be lying if he said it wasn't pretty because dang. It had the most beautiful crimson red scales and deep red eyes. Black horns poked out of the dragons forehead while black blended red spikes came out from the top of his head to the tip of his tail. Bakugo did notice the slightly torn up wings and the battle scar of his right eye. That made him wander what it was still doing here, out in the open like this.

'Whats wrong with you?' Bakugo says stepping a little closer. (He also curses at himself for talking to something his brain made up.) He instant feels stupid because its a dragon. It cant talk. He looked the dragon up and down then finally realized its problem.

His paw. There was a sword sticking out of it. It wasn't bleeding at the moment but all the dark red around it indicated that it was at one point. Bakugo gets close enough to the dragon to grab the sword. But he barely touches it before the creature flinches and lets out a low warning growl.

'Shh. I'm not gonna hurt you Red.' The blonde doesn't realize the nickname he conjured up subconsciously. Red looks down at him. Bakugo goes ahead and grabs the handle of the sword. Red doesn't move even the slightest. Bakugo decides that he should make this as painless as possible, he knew he'd want that if the roles were switched.

Mentally Bakugo counts to three before tugging the sword of of Red's foot. The dragon let out a loud roar and stood up. Bakugo stumbles backwards scared that Red might accidentally step on him.

After a few seconds red calms down and looks at Bakugo. His eyes were full of thankfulness as he leaned down to the the side of Bakugo's head where he had sustained his injury. (Note: That's how he heals himself.) In the process of doing so, he knocks Bakugo over. The blonde surprised himself by laughing a bit.

But the moment was quickly ruined by the sound of metal clanking and the sound of horse hooves. 'Where is it!?' A loud voice rang out through the trees. 'It's right over here!' Another voice said. They were getting closer.

Jumping out into the open was about a dozen horses. He quickly recognized the fire symbol on the horses armor. The Todoroki Kingdom.

He looks over to Red only to be instantly disappointed. He was gone.
