Chapter 2
I pull up to a local family restaurant and get me and Ember out of the car.

“Mommy can i please go see Dylan Carter?” I can’t let the chance of Dylanseeing her. He can’t know, It's not like he would believe it anyway. “We’ll see baby.”
We walked in and immediately I saw my best friend.

“Look baby” I point to where Jen is and when Em sees her she runs up into her arms. I smile. These too have a great relationship with each other.

“Hi Emmie bear” Jen says to her and hugs her. “Hi auntie jenny, i want to go see Dylan Carter, but mommy said no” she pouts with the saddest face. Jen looks at me with a concerned face. She puts Em Down and comes to me.

“Hi Bestie.” she wraps her arms around me. “Hey” I pause and look at my daughter. “Honey, I never said no. I said we would see.” I tell her and she still pouts. “Mommy i have to pee”

“Okay baby i'll take you.” and look at Jen and motion my head to signal her to come with us. She goes into the washroom. Me and Jen wait outside. Jen speaks first “So she wants to see her Daddy live huh” I look at her and she can clearly see I'm upset and confused.

“yeah, but i don't think she should go, i mean what if he sees her. Or worse
me.” she chuckles back “come on Nin. it's been 6 years. He doesn't know Ember and you have changed. He wouldn't notice you even if he saw you through a thousand people.” she reassures me. “Okay maybe i will let her go. But you come too.” she shakes her head and Ember walks out. “All done Mommy”

After we finished our lunch we said our goodbyes to Jen and made our way home for the rest of the day. When we get in Ember sits down on the couch and I put on her favorite show Paw Patrol. I do some cleaning around the apartment while I think about Dylan.

Should Ember go. I mean Jen is right. It's been 6 years since we have seen
each other. He wouldn't recognize me, nor know who Ember is. And he would never even see me at all, there would be thousands and thousands of people there. He would never see me in that big crowd. So maybe we would be fine.

A Little bit later I made dinner for us and heard a knock at my door. I go to answer it but Ember beats me to it. “Hi, can i help you?” she says “Uhhh yeah, HI you must be Ember, i’m Kyle.” when i hear who it is i run to the door. “Baby why don't you go to your room and play.” I looked down to her then to Kyle. “Ok Mommy.” She runs down the hall to her room.

I push him out and close the door. “What are you doing here? I thought i told you not tonight” I told him and kissed his cheek. “Well I wanted to see you, we've been seeing each other for a couple months now and i still haven’t met your daughter.” I look at him with a soft smile. “Yeah but i don't want her to get too attached, and i want to be careful. You've been the first for me since her dad.” I tell
him.

“I know hun, i understand.” he wraps his arm around my waist and kisses my forehead. “See you later?” he asks “yeah of course” he smiles and walks away. I go back in and yell for Em to come eat.

We eat our dinner and get her into the bath and ready for bed. I wrap her in a towel and snuggle her close to warm her up. I pick her up and carry her to her bed, “Okay baby what Pjs do you want to wear tonight” I ask her and pull out a couple for her to choose from . “Princesses, bears, or unicorns” I ask her and points to the bears. “Bears mommy bears!” she yells and I laugh.

I got her changed and read her a bedtime story until she fell asleep
“Goodnight baby girl” and kissed her forehead and turned off her light and closed her door. I go online to buy 3 Dylan Carter Tickets. When I buy them I go to watch E! That's when I see Dylan all over the TV with another one of his bimbos. That's when I turn the tv off and go to bed.

Ember will be so excited when I tell her she's going to see Dylan Live.
