"Y/N! LOOK AT MY WHILE I SPEAK!" You jumped when you heard his tone. "I'm sorry." You looked down refraining from looking at him. You were afraid of him but you chose to stay it was hope that he would change that maybe if you helped him he would get better but nothing helped. He was seven years older than you, the thought that he saw you as a mature woman was everything to you. You were so clouded by this that everyone who warned you, you completely denied it he never hurt you physically. This was your excuse but things don't always have to go to that length in order for it to be declared as abuse. "You little shit why do I even stay with you?" He walked away to his room you just fell to the ground and you began to sob. 'He doesn't mean it he doesn't mean it.' You tried to convince yourself but his words hurt you and at the end of the day you stay.

You rested your head on your arm which was above the table. You watched the young couple laugh as they took photos and ate their food. That's what your relationship with Jaebum used to be before if only it was like that. "Baby are you okay?" He asked you turned around and looked at him. "Yes." You smiled. He wrapped his arm around your waist slightly pulling you closer to him."Aw, babe if this is about last night I'm sorry okay I didn't mean it."
"I know." He leaned in and kissed your lips. "Aww, why aren't you the cutest couple." His friend responded she was a freelance model. You got the urge to use the restroom you were about to move. But he tightened his grip on your waist nearly touching your ribs the pain caused you to whimper. "Are you okay?" She asked obviously worried. "Yeah, just cramps." You always defended him for everything it was your way of showing him that you cared. "I have some pills if you need some."

"No it's okay I'm not good at swallowing pills." You smiled and made a fist under the table your nails scratching your palms a way of coping. "Sunmi, you should come over and hang out with us if you are free sometime."
"Of course I'm free tomorrow I'll call when I get there."

"Sure" Jaebum smiled a smile he has only show you when you first started to date. Sunmi got a notification on her phone she unlocked it. "Sorry guys I have to go but I'll see you tomorrow." She stood up headed to the door and waved goodbye. "Don't ever embarrass me like that." He grabbed your arm leaving the money on the table he dragged you to the car without a word. You both got inside the car.

"Tomorrow when she comes over stay inside our room I'll tell her that you are sick." He started the engine and headed back to your house.

"What? why?"

"Don't question me okay? Don't you trust me?"

"I do but-."

"THEN LISTEN."
You slouched back down to your seat defeated unable to do or say anything.
You arrived at the house you walked inside he jumped on top of the couch and turned the t.v on. There was a mess around the couch you took off your purse and placed your phone in the coffee table next to the couch. You grabbed a trash bag and began to pick up the trash. 'brrrrrrring' You heard your phone vibrate choosing to ignore it you continued to clean. "Babe what's your password? I forgot where I left my phone I'm just going to call it." You told him your password. You took the bag to the trash can in the kitchen then you came back to him standing with your phone in hand and an irritated expression on his face. "Is something wrong?"
"Is something wrong? *ha* Don't act stupid Y/N."
"I'm sorry but I don't know what you are talking about." He moved the screen to your face a new text from one of your coworkers. He was asking if you could meet up tonight. "We are having a new client he probably wants to meet up to talk about the designs."
"Bullshit!" He threw you phone across the room smashing it. You slightly backed away a bit. "Come one let's go!" He grabbed your arm and pulled you to the stairs. "Stop it your hurting me!" He ignored your cries as he grabbed your arm. "Jaebum please let go of me!"

"You should have thought about that before you had the guts to cheat on me."
"I'm not cheating on you I promise."
"Shut the fuck up."
He threw you against the bed. Feeling vulnerable you couldn't do much this emotion of feeling weak you felt tired of it. But you never felt the courage to say or do anything so you stayed there numb.

It was 10 a.m and you were on the bed staring at the closet. Questioning whether you should leave or not. "No I have to stay, he needs me." You laid back down and looked at the ceiling. "Maybe I should go." Before you could say anything else you heard a noise coming downstairs. You peaked out it was the sound of a door closing you carefully walked downstairs and found Sunmi pacing around the living room. "Sunmi?" You walked to her moving your hands behind your back. "Y/N there's something I need to tell you." "Is something wrong?" You sat down in the couch she came to you and sat next to you she faced you. "Y/N I am so sorry but I just saw Jb at the restaurant with another girl."
"Maybe it's one of his coworkers?"
"No Y/N they were to close for that."
"Your lying." You got off the couch and back to the wall. "Y/N I'm not lying I have proof." She opened her gallery and showed you a picture and plain daylight they were kissing. 'No that's not true it's all a lie.' Everything you worked for everytime you stayed for him he hurt you. Her phone was in mute so her flash turned on there was a call. "I don't want to answer." You saw the caller id and noticed it was him. She answered and turned it on the speaker. "Hey, Sunmi I need your help." She started to bite her nails nervously. "Yeah?"
"I'm at the hospital right now can you come over?" She looked up at you taking a pause before answering. "Okay, I'll go with Y/N bye."
"No wait don't-." She walked to the door you followed behind.

You walked inside the building the smell of cleaning products and sanitation filled the air. You and Sunmi walked to the reception desk looking at the female in uniform. "Good morning ladies how can I help?" "Good morning I am looking for Jaebum," Sunmi spoke before you, you watched her look at her computer. "One moment." She typed in the keyboard looking for his name. 'brrrrrrring' As soon as the noise reached your ears you cried out afraid you weren't aware that you had screamed you slid down having your back against the desk. Everything slowly faded you could almost see him dragging you to the bed. He was upset believing that you cheated on him when he was the one that caused everything. He hurt you so deeply it had caused a scar on your soul. You covered your ears as a way to prevent you from hearing the noise. Your tears quickly streamed out of your eyes. The humility he had created for you was haunting you every second. "Y/N look at me!" You looked up it was Sunmi she pulled your arms towards her you flinched at the contact she looked down and noticed the bruises. "Did Jaebum do this to you." You could barely recognize her over the fog that had formed in your eyes from your cries. A nurse quickly came to you helping you get up leading you to a room. Sunmi stayed beside you she held your hand. It had come to an end he could no longer hurt you. You had to take therapy for a few years. He served 4 months in jail and find up to $1,000. This wasn't enough but with the help of Sunmi, you got a permanent restraining order from him. He couldn't hurt you anymore.
