"Thank you for bringing me here."

"Well it was your idea after all to stay in this place."

As we gazed upon the night sky, asterisms setting it ablaze, our hands slowly intertwined as we watched shooting stars fall from above and land somewhere beyond our eyes could see. Her emerald green eyes reflecting the indefinite amount of sparkling dots as she watched in awe. her silky black hair showing lines of white. And her pleasant smile. I was surely speechless at the sight of the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Not the sky but the girl who filled the hole in my heart.

"You know, those stars remind me of you."

"In what way?"

She asked.

"Stars are so many, that even God can't even count them. Extending through the universe and beyond that, it reminds me of your love. The countless things you did for me, that sometimes I think if I'm giving you enough in return."

She looks at me, as if she was distracted by the blush that swept across my cheeks.

When I look at the night sky all I can see are constellations, flawlessly still in the sky surrounded by the other stars. I think of her as that constellation, the whole world stops just to see her face. I thank God and the heavens for having the most precious thing in existence.

"I love you."

"I love you too."
