When Yixian placed her basket on the counter, she had forgotten the main reason she came to the store.
Her mom ran her an errand to do which was to buy some herbs and seasoning to stock at home.
She ran back to the herbs aisle leaving her basket at the counter alone as Nicholas was next in her line.
Nicholas cutted her line when she was away and quickly paid for his stuff and left the store as soon as possible.
