I turn to see Jamie down on one knee holding a ring. I gasp in shock and then remember the plan.
"Lauren will you marry me?" He says fairly stilted, he isn't the best actor.
"Yes!" I scream really playing up to the phones which were now filming me from all angles.
He gives me a big hug and I let me head rest on his chest. Damn he's toned. He slides the ring halfway down my ring finger, where it gets stuck. Great, so now the whole world thinks I have fat fingers. Thanks Jamie. We make our way to the car hand in hand through the small crowd and duck into it, whilst applause breaks out. I'd have to get used to this."You don't mind about me popping the question in front of people, do you? My thinking was the faster the 'news' is out there, then faster the story dies and the media stop tracking my love life." He asks.

"Whoa! I thought you knew that this would happen. We were going to announce the engagement soon enough."
"I understand that, but I had someone I had to tell." I reply, my blood starting to boil.
Why couldn't he understand? It was wrong of him. I thought we would discuss the announcement first, however now I haven't prepped my parents or Nathaniel.
