True Love - Yves & Chuu

As Jiwoo walked into school, her stomach was churning with nervousness building up. As she walked into the science class, she saw her.

Not just any girl, it was Ha Sooyoung.

 Jiwoo had a huge crush on Sooyoung for around 5 months already. She didn't have the courage to confront Sooyoung about having a crush on her.

The reasons why Jiwoo liked Sooyoung so much was her accent, how great a dancer she is, her beauty and kindness. especially her smile.

Jiwoo wished that one day she would be the one making Sooyoung smile.

As Jiwoo walked past the desk where her crush sits, she felt her heart beat uncontrollably to the point it hurt.

Jiwoo was interrupted from her thoughts after hearing her name be called out.

'Kim Jiwoo and Ha Sooyoung please work together for this project'. Is what the teacher said. Jiwoo felt her face heat up upon hearing that announcement.

She looked up as she saw Sooyoung walking over to her desk. Jiwoo immediately took her bag off the chair and onto the floor.

'Thanks' is all that Jiwoo heard come out of Sooyoung's mouth, yet it makes her feel so weak in her heart.

'So, my house tonight at 7pm sharp.' Sooyoung said and left a note with her address on it. Jiwoo didn't realize the lesson had ended, she was so lost in her thoughts.

As Jiwoo walked home, all she could think about was Sooyoung. 

When Jiwoo got home, she plopped down on her bed. 'is this really happening?' she mumbled to herself.

She then checked the time. it read '18:30' so she quickly rushed and got dressed into a t-shirt and skirt then left to Sooyoung's house.

Jiwoo braced herself as she walked towards Sooyoung's front door.

Little did she know, Sooyoung was nervous too. Sooyoung adored Jiwoo. She never talked to Jiwoo before, so she didn't know how to tell Jiwoo that she likes her.

Then, Sooyoung heard a knock on the door. she quickly checked her reflection in the mirror and opened the door to a nervous Jiwoo.

As the door opened, Jiwoo was overcoming many emotions.

'Hey.' Sooyoung said with a smile.

'Hey' Jiwoo said and smiled back.

'Do you want a drink?' Sooyoung asked Jiwoo.

'N-no thanks.. i'm good'. Jiwoo replied.

'Let's go to my room to start the project!' Sooyoung said and Jiwoo followed behind.

'Sit.' Sooyoung said and patted the space on her bed which was beside her.

As Sooyoung was explaining what she thought they could do, many thoughts traveled through Jiwoo's head. 

She was trying to focus on what Sooyoung was saying but got distracted by Sooyoung's facial features. Jiwoo kept focusing on Sooyoung's eyes and lips.

Sooyoung noticed that and asked 'anything wrong?' 

Jiwoo shyly shook her head and smiled awkwardly. She thought there's no going back now and she's just embarrassed herself in front of her crush.

'Okay..' Sooyoung said seemingly upset.

----- 2 hours later ----

'Here's my number if you need anything.' Sooyoung said passing a piece of paper to Jiwoo. 

'Thanks.' Jiwoo said and shyly took the paper from Sooyoung's hand.

As Jiwoo walked out the front door, she stopped in her tracks after she heard Sooyoung call her name.

Jiwoo turned around and Sooyoung looked flustered.

'I need to tell you something' Sooyoung said and walked towards Jiwoo.

When she was right in front of Jiwoo, she said 'i know this may sound crazy, but just hear me out.'

'I like you, Kim Jiwoo. No- I love you'. Sooyoung said with sudden confidence.

 Jiwoo's eyes went wide at the sudden confession. 'What should i do?' kept running in her head.

'It's fine if you don't feel the same, i can ask to switch partners since it will be awkward.' Sooyoung said scratching her arm nervously.

'No. I like you. Like a lot. Heck, I love you!' Jiwoo suddenly said. Sooyoung's eyes went wide and they hugged each other like there's no tomorrow.

Sooyoung broke the hug and kept looking at Jiwoo's lips and Jiwoo noticed so she placed her lips on top of Sooyoung's.

Jiwoo broke away and smiled at Sooyoung and Sooyoung smiled back.

'I'll see you tomorrow!' Sooyoung said and winked. 

'Wait!' Jiwoo yelled.

Sooyoung turned around with a smile on her face.

'Are we official?' Jiwoo asked.

Sooyoung nodded 'yes, my girlfriend'. she said with a wink and then went inside her house and closed the door.

Jiwoo couldn't stop smiling to herself at the scene she just witnessed herself.

When Jiwoo left, Sooyoung kept smiling to herself, also.

That's when they both realized they had found true love.
