Unexpected Encounter

Dang I usually never wake up this early. It's 6:14am, wow, I guess I really am a morning person, on good days at least. I see Dad went out drinking again. Well, that's normal but the smell of alcohol and cigarettes can really kill someone's lungs. The only food we have is some stale corn flakes and a jug of orange juice.

"Y/N don't forget to get food on your way back from school," hollered my Dad.

"Yeah Dad got it," I said with a unbothered tone but was deeply aggravated.

I swear I always have to go get the groceries. With us moving to this new area I don't even know where anything is, and in fact not even my own school.
"Y/N don't forget to also get food for the boys their coming for a business meeting," my Dad yelled as I headed towards the kitchen. "Yeah," I answered back.

Sure a "business meeting" that's what he always says he just invites some random dudes over and sells them drugs. Well at least he makes money unlike mom who just ran off for some rich dude she found on the streets. Very cliche I know but what can I say the women left me when I was 2 years old. At least Dad sticked around.

"Bye Dad I'am heading out," I said half way through the door. "Don't forget what I told you Y/N," yelled my Dad.
"Yeah Yeah Yeah love you too," I replied.
Hopefully this school year goes by smoothly. I've got to stay quite and not get attached to anyone. Because friends don't actually exist their just their to ruin your life slowly but surely. I know that sounds kind of pessimistic but from what I've experienced I find it true.

I see myself as pretty average some people say I'm tall but 5'9 is really not that tall in my opinion.

~ heading to school~

Why does this place have to have so much steep hills and curves. I swear I'm going to have some killer thighs after this school year.

~ 10minutes later ~

I really need to work out more or I'll never make it to school on time at this rate. Aaaaouch!!
Frick why the hell is there a hole in the middle of the road. Damn now my knees bleeding how convenient. !!Ring Ring!! What the?!

"Hey hello are you okay" I opened my eyes to see a young boy hovered over me.

What the hell happened.

"I'm so sorry, I'm used to riding my bike really fast down these hills and people don't really come around here."

"It's fine don't sweat it, it's just that I'm new around here and you know..... just trying to find my way," I said while rubbing my head.

I sat up and gathered my things which were scattered all over the floor. The boy helped me pick up my stuff. I hate talking to people my social anxiety can't handle this.

"Where were you heading,"the boy asked.

"Oh just to um school," I said rubbing my neck.

"Which school let me guess.... Karasuno," said the boy.

"Haha I guess you can tell by my uniform," I said while showing a slight grin.

"Guess what Im also going to Karasuno, and you want to know what the funny thing is. I've always wanted to go to this school."

"Cool,"I said acting interested.

" Your probably thinking why? Karasuno is just an average school. But despite me being short I want to play volleyball, and be just like the Tiny Giant who in fact went to Karasuno."

"That's pretty cool," I said.

"Hey I almost forgot what's your name my name is Hinata" questioned the boy grinning.

"Oh my name is Y/N"

"That's a pretty cool name," he said while heading towards his bike.

"Well I'll be going bye Y/N," he said hoping on his bike.

Aaaa I don't know where the school is. I really don't want to ask ginger I hate social interaction but I have too.

"Hey, wait!," I yelled.

"Yeah" the boy turned around.

Um well you know I'm new here and all and the problem is that. I don't know where the school is located and I was wondering if you could help me out.

"Sure no problem just hop on," he said while patting the back of his bike.

What? ( does this ginger know I can snap him like a twig )

"Don't worry my little sister always rides with me on my bike you'll be fine," he replied with a grin.

"Um," I said in a nervous tone. ( did this kid just compare me to a child he's almost half my height )

"Oh I'm good I can just walk," I said. (please don't insist )

"No I insist you'll be fine," he said in a reassuring tone.

"No don't worry I just need the location that's all," I said in a nervous but persistent tone.

"Okay, if you insist so just head straight blah blah........"

"Thanks Hinata"

"See you around Y/N," he said while taking off.

Crap I thought I was early but now I'm going to be late.

~ Y/N ran all the way to school ~

Oh my gosh I made it just in time. I'm so out of breath I swear It feels like I just ran a marathon. Its just been a few hours and this day has already been a pain in the-

"Hey, girl your in my way," said a boy.

What the ( I turned around to notice a really tall guy with glasses and short blonde hair with pretty pale skin )

"Sorry dude," I said moving aside as he walked down the hall. (dang that guys cold but kind of attractive what am I thinking aaaa! )

Where the hell is my class. I swear this paper says it's around here. I went in circles and went up and down multiple stairs.

Bingo I found it!

I'll just sit here near the back just like an anime character protagonist but with out the main role. And try not to draw any attention towards me. Not like I get any to start with, but I'm not complaining. My head hurts so bad that ginger can really pack a punch. And it's not like my knee magically healed itself, it hurts like no other.

Ah whatever it's nothing like my old school.

"Hey Y/N it's you nice to see you made it."

"Oh hey Hinata," I said lifting my head. ( great tangerine's also here to bad for trying not to get noticed )

Kids take your seats. Hello class and welcome to your first day of school I would just like to say to remember that school always comes first, but don't forget to always enjoy your high school experience and make new friends that will last a lifetime.

Sure like friendships will ever last that long.....
or how I wish they did.
