Chapter 5 | Lots of Explaining

Uraraka's Pov.

  The girls (besides Mina) all blushed and looked in different directions. They knew what that meant. After all, Uraraka had these dreams because she had a crush on Deku... 

  "What do you mean except me?" Mina asked.

  "You don't have a cr-" Uraraka stopped herself.

  'I'm not going to say crush! My friends wouldn't want that...'

  "You didn't crash, like take a hit to the head!" Uraraka lied.

  "Yeah, yeah," all the girls besides Mina put their hands over their faces.

  "Oh, I get it," Mina smirked and nodded.

  "What does that have to with the villain creature?" Ojiro asked, looking confused.

  "I took a hit to the head, remember?" Uraraka was making things up.

  "Stop lying," Kaminari sighed, "Tell us the truth."

  'How did he..?'

  "W-What I'm not-" Uraraka stopped herself again, "Fine, I was lying."

  "Then what's the real reason?" Tokoyami asked.

  "It'll all be revealed to you in due time," Mina put her arms around the four girls that didn't confess yet,

  You could tell that their face were red and they were trying to hide them.

  "Er... Okay," Ojiro didn't prod any further.

  "Anyway, he can actually harm you, so-" Uraraka was going to say "So if you see any of them in your dreams, steer clear" but she didn't say it, "You know what? I'm going to explain this to the girls alone for a few minutes, so just wait here for a moment."

  They all walked over somewhere else (besides the other boys). But Deku was still there. It made her feel better.

  "Like I was saying before, if you see your crush in your dream, run away as fast as you can," Uraraka told them, "The first few dreams will only be insulting you and probably falling into something, but it won't hurt you. After that you have to avoid them at all costs."

  "Okay," Toru nodded.

  "He gets one attempt to kill you every twenty four hours too, remember that," Uraraka informed them.

  "Okay, I will, ribbit," Tsu agreed.

  "I never asked... when did your nightmares start?" Momo asked Uraraka.

  "T-They started at..." Uraraka couldn't say it at first, "They started at your sleepover..."

  "I shouldn't have done a sleepover... This is all my fault..." Momo put her head down.

  "No it isn't! If you didn't have that sleepover, Deku would've never saved me!" Uraraka argued.

  "Really?" she looked a little confused.

  "He woke me up," Uraraka explained.

  Deku rubbed the back of his head.

  "We never tested this out, but if you fall asleep, can anyone else besides that person wake you up?" Momo asked.

  "I'm not sure, we'll have to try that out sometime..." Uraraka sighed, she really didn't want to take the chance of dying...

  "Safely," Deku put a hand on her shoulder.

  She nodded.

  "I don't know which one of you is next, but whoever it is, be on your guard," Uraraka told them with a serious tone. She didn't want any of her friends to die on her.

Deku's Pov.

  They walked back to the rest of the boys, who were patiently waiting for them to get back. Honestly, Kaminari was no where close to being patient, but he stayed sitting there.

  "How was your talk without us?" Kaminari asked.

  "Easier," Uraraka admitted.

  "Is there anything else you can tell us that will prove useful in the future?" Todoroki asked.

  "Well... Not really but the villain creature is crazed and will go to almost any length to kill you, even pretending you be someone. But after he stabs you, or if you're sharing dreams, another person, then-" Ochaco was cut off.

  "Sharing dreams? Where did that idea come from?" Kaminari questioned.

  "Er..." Ochaco looked up at Deku and he nodded.

  "We've... shared dreams before..." Ochaco pushed her index fingers together.

  "But... that's impossible," Ojiro looked confused.

  "No it isn't, but it was definitely weird..." she sighed, "I didn't believe it either..."

  "How did you find out?" Tokoyami wondered aloud.

  "I told Deku to lock pinkies with me in the morning, and when he did I was so surprised I thought I had gone crazy," Uraraka put a hand over her face.

  "Out of any sign you could've chose, you chose locking pinkies?" Kaminari looked a little annoyed for some reason.

  "I don't know, it made sense at the time," Ochaco shrugged.

  "How did you know that this creature can turn to look like us?" Todoroki asked.

  "In my dream, we were in a room with glass separating us. We were talking for a little while until he said something like "It's too bad you're female friends will have to deal with me" and when I asked what he meant, he started walking up to the glass shape shifting into all of you except as a villain. Each form had a crazed smile filled with blood lust, and then when I stood up a cat appeared at my feet for some reason," Ochaco told them.

  "Cats make everything better," Yaoyorozu nodded her head.

  "No, dogs," Ashido argued.

  "I'm a frog person, ribbit," Tsu commented.

  "I like cats, but dogs too! Just cats more," Ochaco shrugged, "Anyway, that was when I heard a voice, but I don't remember exactly what it said..."

  "Huh, weird, ribbit," Tsu took a mental note.

  "Either way, this whole situation is bad," she sighed.

  "I don't want any of you to die!" Ashido pulled all her friends into a big hug.

  "I suggest making a list of everything you want to do," Ochaco suggested. 

  "Yeah... I better go back to my dorm," Yaoyorozu stood up and started walking back. She looked really scared. He didn't blame her.

  "Me too," Jiro got up and went back to her dorm.

  Soon, all the girls left.

  "I... don't want Kyoka to die..." Kaminari looked concerned.

  "Should I make sure that Toru's okay?" Ojiro wondered aloud.

  "I hope Yaoyorozu makes it through the night..." Todoroki said.

  "Tsu will be okay... I know she will..." Tokoyami still looked concerned.

  For some reason, he felt a little annoyed at them.

  "You're acting like the girls are inexperienced little kids who don't know how to protect themselves," all of them looked at him, "Well, except Tokoyami. But I trust them. They'll be okay."

  "Uraraka said that they won't wake up until he stabs them though..." Kaminari said.

  "Trust them," Deku told them.
