My name is Abigail, I am a Caucasian female of average build with a modest figure and what my friends call a pretty face, green eyes, ovular face and dark brown hair.
Until this morning I was a normal college graduate with a bachelor's in literature, good marks and great job prospects, overall a bright future.
Today, while having dinner I, for some odd reason decided that it was finally time for me to come out of the closet and tell my family everything. Even knowing the fact that my family is extremely Catholic, I decided after long months of introspection that I must tell them, or my responsibilities will end up crushing my soul.
After I told them about myself and my preferences, my father was livid, he threw things at me, cussed me out and beat me. After that he threw me out of his 'humble' household.
The only thing my mother- the only person in my entire family who even remotely tried to look at things my way- could do in all this chaos was to slip me 5 grand and whisper in my ear that she was sorry.
After that, I was left out in the rain to fend for myself without as much as an umbrella to save me from the rain.
