Dear diary

I am Elisabeth Cullen, and I was born on the 31st of October 1903. You have probably heard about my family, they are quite well known. My older brother is Edward and his wife is Bella and they have a child called Renesmee. My adoptive mum and dad figures are Carlisle and Esme Cullen. Then I have Alice, Rosalie and Jasper and Emmett who are my adoptive siblings.

Even thought they are my family now I wasn't always with them before I went through my transformation I went through quite a rough childhood. I don't really know a lot about my past but what I can remember and what I have been told I will share with you. I have never told anyone really what I remember, not even Edward, well he knows some of it. As he can read my mind.

Let's see, Well I remember seeing a red and white light when I was born, I didn't really think anything of it when I was a child. I can't really remember my mum, Edward told me she was in a lot of pain when I was born, I don't even know where she is now, I always though that she might be dead. A part of me wants to believe that she is still alive and that she had to leave because she couldn't stay here and be with me and Edward. I can picture her sometimes but it's not really clear so I don't know anything about that I tried to focus on my life now and what I have gained and not what I have lost.

My brother Edward is the most kindest and loving brother anyone could ask for. I spent a lot of my time with him when I was young.

Skipping ahead a bit, we go to the week my brother died of influence, which is a type of flue. When he died it was the saddest day of my life as I lost the only person who I cared about and who cared about me. My father went in a deep depression when he died. As he lost the only child he actually cared about and that was Edward my father hated me.

A few weeks after Edwards death, I saw my brother, I couldn't believe or understand how he was alive. He told me that a Doctor called Carlisle changed him into a vampire. I didn't understand at first but I knew it was true. He also told me that my father was going to sell me to the Volturi, which is a group of vampires and they would have eaten me. Edward said that I should run away and find a safe place to stay. (Well that plan didn't go so well. ) So when I Got home I went into Edwards room put on his clothes and disguised my self as a boy so no one would recognise me. Then I climb out the window and down the drain. The next thing I did was run as far away as I could, I turned down a dark alley way that I had never seen before but I continued to run. Suddenly, as I turned a corner a tall dark figure appeared in front of me out from no where. He tried to bite me and it was then that I realised he was a vampire. This next part is very hard for me to remember as it is so painful. I continued to run and get away from the vampire. I couldn't see where I was going and the next thing I know I am in the water unconscious.

That's how I died. Well sort of. I didn't know it at the time but I was transforming into a vampire. I could feel a burning sensation all over my body and all my senses and feelings were changing. At first I thought i was in hell. I can't remember anything else of my changing. I can only remember what happened after, as I woke up I saw my brother and a man who I assumed was Dr Carlisle as he was looking at me for any signs of marks. I got up at and everything was moving fast all around me, all my senses where different, something definitely changed. Edward approached me and calmed me down. He explained everything to me and what had happened. Even though he told me what happened I could sense he didn't tell me everything, he was hiding something from me. It was almost as if I could hear his thoughts. So I confronted him and said come on Edward tell me I know your not telling me something. Edward looked at Carlisle and then Carlisle explained that I wasn't bitten and that I have always been a vampire my whole life it was just then when I died that I fully became a vampire. He explained that he found out when my mum was pregnant she had the vampire venom in her and it effected me. Everything became clear then it explained a lot of my life. That day I became a Cullen.
The next thing I did was meet the rest of my new family, well at the start it was only me, Edward and Carlisle but over the years new people joined our family. . They are all so nice and , the first pearson I meet was Esme she is married to Carlisle and she is like a mum to me in a way. Then there is Alice and jasper and Emmett and Rosalie who are like my brothers and sisters. After everyone joined our coven we became a family.

I lived with the Cullens for many years. However after those few years, I had to leave them so that they wouldn't get hurt, I would not let them get hurt. There was a vampire and his name was Jack. You see jack was after me as he found out that I was born a vampire and he didn't agree with this. One day he found were we where and he tried to kill Edward. From that day on ward I left and travelled the world and I was on the run. I have spent all my life running till now.

The first country I went to was South Africa, I spent a few years there. When I was in South Africa I met a bunch of vampires when I was there. That's when I discovered that I had the ability to use the powers of ever vampire I meet. I can only use it when I most need it though. After Africa I went to, France, Italy, America and so on.
A few years within my travels I discovered that I had some human traits like being able to cry and blush. I believe it could be due to the fact I was never bitten so I would have been born a vampire. Gradually over time I noticed that my golden eyes had been tainted with red, due to the fact I have human blood. After this I made sure that no one noticed my eyes so I wore contacts around humans.

Then we'll recently I came here back to my brother and the Cullens. Well I only came back because I heard a war was starting and I needed to help. Before the war I meet Emma, she is a werewolf and witch and now we have travelled all over the place together so we can find werewolf's and any people who will fight on are side when Danial declares the start of the war.

Finally we are at the end of my story so far, me and Emma are back and we found some people willing to help. Tomorrow we start to fight and hopefully we win, well I hope will do.
