When I started writing this, I didn't believe I would even get as far as figuring out a plot. Yet, I have continued to amaze myself with how much I have managed to work on so far - and I can only hope it gets better.
I would like to thank my boyfriend for helping the story make logical sense. I'd also like to thank my beta readers: Connor, Amelia, Bekah and Kate.
Just to clear some things up:
• Daisy is Daffodil's mother
• Yes, it is set in the 1940s - if I mess up some of the time period stuff, please don't come for me. I tried my best.
• World War One is non-existent in this piece of fiction.
