Chapter 10:

"Toxic"

Kun's hands gently squeezed mine, he smirked as he stared at my face.

"Let it loose, Yuxin." He said, deeply staring at me with his dark and enticing orbs. "I'll let you know what true happiness is if you're true to yourself." He added, his eyes then shift to the road.

The car stopped to the place I'm currently staying, I got out of the car with Kun following me from behind.

"Leave." I said, he just looked at me with a glare.

"I'm not, I'm moving in with you, my men already put my things inside your place when we're outside." He said, smirking at me as if he's mocking me.

I massaged my pulsating temples, letting out a deep breath.

I silently walk forward, ignoring him.

"Hey, don't be mad I just want to spend time with you." he exclaimed, still following me from behind.

This guy is really getting on my nerves.

I pulled out my key, unlocking the door and what he said is true.

Suitcases and some paper bags filled the living room, but I frowned seeing a familiar man standing inside my place.

"W-What are you doing here?" I asked, frowning.

Chen Linong.

Kun looked at him, his gaze morphed into something sinister as he clenches his jaw making me instantly hold his hand to calm him down.

The man turns around, sheepishly grinning at me.

"Liu Yuxin, it seems like you're having a great time in here." He said, looking at our intertwined hands.

He smirked, looking at Kun.

"I see..." he muttered making me look at him.

He then faced me as I lowered my head down.

"You're slowly becoming a butterfly." He suddenly said, gently gripping my chin as he lifted it up.

Kun swatted his hands away violently as I noticed how Linong's eyes changed, it turned into something deeper.

His black orbs glanced at me as he raises his brow, smirking.

"...and he's helping you become one." He added, glaring at Kun.

I sighed, not understanding anything that he says.

"W-Why are you here?" I asked, stuttering.

He looked at me, "Yuxin, let's get married." He suddenly said.

My eyes widened as I felt my hold to Kun's hand loosened, in which in return, he tightened it.

"W-What?" I muttered, feeling baffled.

Seeing my confused state, Linong smirked.

"You can't be a butterfly Yuxin, you must remain a caterpillar, my caterpillar." He confessed.

My brows meet as he speaks total nonsense to me.

What is he saying?

Kun glared at him, "You get out of here, Yuxin is mine." He replied, I can feel my heartbeats racing once again.

Linong click his tongue, pushing Kun's chest away as he also glared at the latter.

"This is why I don't want you to bloom Yuxin, you're attracting a lot of attention already." He said, then he looked at me.
