Zanviel engulfed them in a hug and said,

"I honestly wanted to die."

The trio look at him shocked.

Lily and Christy were tongur tied , seeing the guy they've known all their lives bought back to life and the first thing coming to his mind is...death?

Jorge asked,"but..why? you just came back...."

"I heard.....i don't know how much time has passed but i heard what y'all talked,How you celebrated chrisy's birthday in this hospital room,How everyday you guys would come here share how your day was,Talk to me wheni was half dead here....You guys...you never gave up on me...and i?? Do I deserve this....even a little i-"

"What are you talking about zan " said Christy softly

"All my life i did nothing but act like a Frkn living cliche...hurted you guys..Lily...i never...never meant bad but i was always hurting you...Back when we were kids...when i came back..when you came backk...Christy i let you down ..disappointed you...was'nt the ideal brother to maxie.... Jorge man..i don't even know you...Why did you take care of me.I'm pretty sure you know what i did..."

"Man what do i say...You see this girl...I love her just like you love lils...I see my elder sister in Lily....I can't..i just..Can't see them hurt...break..I could take a bullet for these girls without giving a  second thought to it.....Even tho you were a dick heck a scumbag but you love lily and she does too...we all know that...Don't talk about death...please...for their sake.."

"Think about me,I still like the lollies you gave me...Who'll give me lollies if you die? All these years...when we ran from home,When you were here..I didn't eat a single lolly...i was waiting for my bro to give me one...will you give me a lolly,please?"Christina sobbed 

Zanviel hugged her and said,"I'm not a good person Chris....Terec...he died did'nt he?......I couldn't save him....he died because of me...do i deserve this life....His..his last words...his sad smile..they haunt me...want me to die over and over again with the pain he went through an-"

"Stop Zan"Interrupted Lily.

"what..do you still love this murderer"

"ZANVIEL JODY DECLAN.IT WAS NOT YOUR FAULT."

"What...i was driving..i clearly saw him...i...what are you talking about lils?"

she smiled,    "You called me Lils?"

"I did and will till the day i die, You three can punish me as much as you want..but please tell me ...what happened..what was up w the Terec thing?"

"Okay so how much do you remember?"

"everything...that night, he was going to his granny's place and then.."

"Yes ,so his granny never called him....She was never sick.."

"what?"

"yes...remember when years ago, when that thing happened in Collins ball?Terec wasn't here?"

"yeah!"

"So his family , well..his mom owns an organization well a pretty strong one and his dad  is the vice chancellor of the uni we attend...so they've always forced their children to study study study and they basically had no life...and he was the eldest of the three so he was under a lot of pressure.. He protected T and Josh from the pressure and agreed to be the next heir of his mom's org. So, his parents were very happy and sent him to a boarding school in london which only Elites could afford.. ..during that ball he was supposed to be in London ,...he went there  and was in his hostel but that place was basically  for all the royal and rich brats so he got w them and did what  they do for thrill, and later that year he went to Africa and settled there for two years..for his parents it was to study, but in reality he was involved in a racket... a drug racket..he wrote a suicide note .Before leaving the house, the night he met you...he had transferred all the cash he had, to Josh's account and all his shares of the various companies he bought as a cover to what he was doing in real for his family, to T's name....the cops wanted to have a word w you when you wake up but your house's chief maid..Mary...she...."

"What happened to her?"

"She was involved in the racket too , she knew Terec and was sent some contacts for a new deal but in the end when she had misplaced some cocaine worth $7500 , Terec took the blame .He was efficient with his orders, as for him it was an escape route and the only thrill in his life  so noone believed him when he said he misplaced the packs then he dialed the one he was supposed to deliver,and bribed him with some cash to say he lost it...hoping that his friends would back him up but they were coming for him and he didn't want his sibling to see him like that because he was never an ideal son but all he wanted was to be an ideal sibling,a role model to his younger siblings.. Mary was like a loving mom to him ,so she couldn't take the news of his death and after things were confirmed .....Mary confessed and before cops could take her...She was killed and very brutally...her organs were literally lying on the floor..so that's what happened, don't beat yourself up for it."

"she was like a mom to me as well....i didn't know she...why do i always lose people i cherish and love..."     Zanviel mumbled looking down holding his head with both hands

Christy came and hugged his side and said:

"It wasn't your fault she did that,She loved you and treated you like her own son...She...she's gone now.... we can't change a thing now but what we can do is stick together...support each other an-"

"Okay guys..the doctor wants to check up on Zan .I'm calling him in" said Jorge and left

"How many times do i have to ask him to like NOT interrupt when i talk..Zan i'll be back after killing a human.Lils yall have a chitchat...if i get arrested...my chocolate stash is behind the bookshelf..bye!"with this,  she stomped angrily towards where Jorge was...

"this girl..."    they giggled..

Their eyes met and  he looked down..Lily frowned and said,

"Okay now that you're back i want some things to be clear..What we are going to do, to make this work is -Forget the past"

Zanviel looked even more sad,she held his face by both her hands made him look in her eyes and said,

"forget the past but not the morals it bought us,forget the bitter parts remember the sweet memories...and never forget the feelings we had... so"

she knelt , smiled and looked into his eyes and took his hands in hers  ,

he was seriously confused but amused by her actions .

she continued:

"So,Mr.Zanviel Jody Declan, do i have the pleasure to be with you...we've loved each other practically half our life but don't have a single happy memory...do you hereby promise to be with me,grow with me,stay with me through my ups and downs...let me be with you ,let me take you out of the darkness you currently are in... let me ask you how your day was,,let me walk holding your hand,snuggle with me when i make Coffee and cookies for Christmas mornings...Would you like to be a part of out family? The family of three we have..Do you want to be with-"

"NO"  he said folding his hands...looking grumpy .
