Chapter 3

Yibo's POV

I lazily got up from my bed as I amble my way to my bathroom. I yawn and watch my reflection in the mirror with my eyes half close, I still want to sleep but I have to prepare breakfast for me and Haikuan Ge.

I was about to wash my face when I clearly saw my hair in the mirror rise like lightning strike me while i was asleep!! And my Face! Hella shit i look like a clown!!

"AAAAHHHHHHH" I scream in aghast and instantly open the faucet to wet my hands as I comb it in my hair until it looks normal and quickly washed my face to remove the powder and lipstick on my lips and nose.

I heave a sighed once I'm done and look at my reflection in the mirror again, thinking if I did this to myself while I'm sleeping. But I'm not using lipstick!!

Tugging my hair while i marched down the stairs, still thinking how I woke up like that.

I was in a deep thought while i put down a plate of eggs and bacon and bread on the table when brother walks in.

"I can smell the egg and bacon in my room Yibo." Haikuan ge said teasingly as he mess my hair and sit down on the chair. He is now wearing his nurse uniform.

I playfully rolled my eyes and glared at him as i sit down on my chair. "Don't tease me brother, you know I can't cook."

"Okay okay, HAHA easy.. Stop glaring at me." He said.

"Brother." I called him out. He hummed in return as he chew the crispy bacon.

"This past few days, I felt something strange here. Do you think we are not the only one living here?" He stopped and look at me.

"Mmmm, last night I decided to sleep with the lights off and then I wake up around 3:00 a.m because i have to pee but then I saw someone standing in my dark room. So I went close to the main switch and turn the lights on, and then."

"A-and then w-what? Is it a g-ghost?" I sputter.

Haikuan ge smirked as my fingers starts to fidgety.

"And then, I saw the standee of Lan Xichen, The handsome brother of Lan Wanji in the Untamed. I forgot, I bought it yesterday and placed it in my room haha." He even laugh and stood up to put his plate in the sink.

I gape.

"Don't think too much, you are just tired okay? I'll go now Yibo."

"B-but"

"No but. 7pm is my last shift. Don't scare yourself okay." He patted my head and warmly smile before he went out the kitchen. Soon i heard his car left.

I sigh again and again as I wash the dishes. After that, I sat on the couch in the living room and turn on the t.v. and watched two movies. When I got bored, I get my phone in my pocket and called Hao Xuan.

HX : H-hey man f-finally you c-called!

Y: Yeah. I'm bored Hao Xuan, do you wanna go skate boarding today?.

HX: A-ahh mmm, skate board-ding?

Y: Yes, wait.... why is your voice like that and why are you Stuttering dude?

I asked and heard strange noises. I heard him whisper to someone, ahh maybe Xingchen is with him. My eyes widened once I process the noise and Abruply ended up the call. I shook my head and chuckle. You disturb their loving loving Yibo. I thought and tried contacting Ji Li but he is not answering my calls.

I throw my phone on the couch and force my eyes in the tv screen. I look at the clock hanging on the wall and it's lunch time. I stood up and went in the kitchen to make sandwiches for my lunch. I don't wanna burn our new kitchen so I'll just eat sandwich for today.

I put my plate with 3 sandwiches on the small table in the living room and went back in the kitchen to get an apple juice. Holding a glass of juice in my hand as i sat down on the couch and Start to eat but then I stopped and look at the 2 sandwiches in my plate.

I thought I made 3 sandwich not 2?

I massage my forehead and just eat it. I don't wanna stress myself for thinking it again. I still have to attend school tomorrow.

Hours passed quickly and deciding to take a nap, so I only left my plate in the sink and headed to my room upstairs.

I open my door and close it. I halted my steps when i saw a figure sitting on my bed with my blanket covered it.

"Who are you?!!"

I voice out but the figure didn't move. I gulp in aghast, my heart thump abnormally as cold sweat starts to form on my forehead. I wipe it using the back of my hand. My legs seems like a jelly now! I can't stand properly because of fear.

I use my remaining valour and yanks the blanket off of him and there.. I saw a boy smiling at me.

"H-hi" He giggle. I freeze. I wanna scream but I can't. I wanna run but I can't move my feet . G-ghost?

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH DEAD DEADDDD BROTHERRR HELP ME THERE IS A GHOSTTT GHOSTTT..." I scream really loud once I found my voice.

"AAAAHHHHHHH. EH?? what would i yell to you?? AAAALLLIIIVVEE ALIVEEEE??"

I heard the boy scream too but everything turns black. The last thing I know I fell on the floor.
