Shiddharth was walking back and forth, with a clenched fist and rubbing his forehead in frustration. Vikram was sitted on his leather chair with deep thoughts. And at the merely unnoticed corner and girl was sitting sticked to the wall corner, fiddling her fingers in confusion,thats anika.  After a long silence, siddharth spoke up.

Siddharth: Why! Why dad? Why are we here, dont you think your decision is nothing but a trigger to end our family reputation! (he yelled looking at his father read eyed). Anika jumped at his sudden voice and glanced her father to reply.

Vikram: Siddharth you know it very well... Didn't we discussed about it?Do whatever you want, my decision wont change! ( vikram said in a deep voice).

Anika was still confused about what they were talking. The girl got the curiosity to ask even she knew that her big brother will either yell at her or would raise his hands. But still she collected some courage and asked in a low voice. " w-hat decision are you talking about bhai? " she said looking at the floor. Siddharth turned his head at her and gave her a disguised look. " Dont you dare speak to me! Bloody bitch! Just keep your fucking mouth shut! " he yelled.

Anika's eye widened at his harsh behavior. After ketki's death siddharth always used to mistreat her, she didn't know why? But she knew she was nothing for her brother but a burden, thats what he calls her. Tears started rolling down her cheeks..

Vikram: siddharth! What is the way you are talking to your sister! Whats wrong with you man!... Dont cross your limits!...

Siddharth gave him a death glare and spoke up. " And dont you dare call this bitch my sister! She is nothing to me, just a murderer! The reason for my moms death" after the last word siddharth himself broke into tears. Vikram stood up and walked to him and placed a hand on his shoulder.

Vikram" Son, please i know you are still broken at your mom's death. But please... Stop blaming ani for her death."

Siddharth shoved his hand harshly and answered with red teary eyes.
" N-no d-dad... They w-ere not h-here to k-kill m-mumm-a! All because of anika's schyco boyfriend -"

Vikram interrupted him and shook his head, signaling him not to complete his sentence in front of anika. As if he did not wanted her to know a big truth... Anika frowned at his actions ...she knew something was wrong and something big was hidden from her.

Anika: M-my ex? You mean Advaay? What with him bhai? Dad? Whats wrong! How is mom's death related to him*advaay?...

Vikram let out a deep sigh and stared siddharth for a few seconds and then walked to anika. Anika was crying silently with pain in her eyes. Vikram kissed her forehead and said with a dissapointed look.

" Ani, you have to promise me that you will not overreact ".

Anika: Please... Dad tell me... Please(broken voice)...

Vikram: Ahh uhh the day when ketki passed out. The men who fired on ketki was advaays men...

Anika's eyes widened, she didn't know what to say. She was told that her mom got into a car accident when she returned from her vacation. Advaay? Her ex boyfriend killed her mom? Why? Why was this kept secret from her.

Anika pov~

What? My mom she was murdered? Not an accident? " Why didn't you tell me dad? " i said in a broken voice. Dad looked at me with teary eyes, he looked barely conscious. He spoke up" That day, some men of advaay singh rayzada came to our house(sobs) ,they were searching for you(sobs) nor siddharth or i was at home ani... They killed her! They killed her!".

Dad fell on his kness, i was about to grab him, but siddhath stopped me by grabbing my wrist and pushed me. I looked at him wide eyed. " Don't! Dont touch dad! You are the reason why my mom died but dont you dare become the reason for losing my dad anika! Stay away from me!dad! Just go away! Let us live in peace pleaseee.... "

Anika: Bhai... Please i didn't knew anything about it bhai! ".

Vikram stood up and wiped his tears away and gave his children a normal look. He scoffed and said" So now that you know that your life is in threat i've taken a decision to keep you safe, and you have to do what i say".anika frowned and scoffed " W-hat is it? "...

"Today you are going to get married to shivaay singh oberoi".
