(As we learned from Season 1 Hope is immune to Malivore's memory loss powers to anyone who falls into the pit when Landon's mother fell in the pit)
Landon knew she would remember him given she kept his mother a secret from him about it once but given he's been in there for a year he felt isolated again like he use to be his whole childhood even knowing his foster brother Rafael had forgotten him but what kept him going.....was finding a way to get back to Hope and knowing she was trapped here once he knew there had to be a way out just..........didn't know what that was......
But the only company he had....was someone who made him rather he be alone then have HIM with him
