"Leon."
"Noel." I shouted "Let's go, or mommy's gonna be late for work"
"Mommy, you can't be late you're the boss" Noel replied coming towards me.
"Yes, mommy's the boss, but I have a few meetings today." I said while helping Noel with his jacket.
"LEON JAMES WOODS!" I yelled .
"I'm coming mom." replied Leon coming down the stairs with a sketchpad and a case with pencils.
"Noel help your brother carry those things to the car." I said grabbing my purse and locking the door.
I checked to make sure their seat belts were buckled and pulled off. After a few minutes on the road I turned around and see Leon drawing and Noel playing a game.
How did I end up so lucky to have such caring and understanding children. Sometimes I wished that their father had stayed. Then my kids could have a father figure, someone to look up to. But you don't always get what you want.
I pulled up to Woods Enterprises and parked at my spot.
"Loves we're here." I said tapping them softly. My kids would usually go to school but they're on Christmas break so I bring them to work with me.
"Good morning Linda" I greeted my assistant.
"Good morning" the boys said in unison.
"Good morning." Linda replied as we walked into the elevator. "Your first meeting is at 9:30, then you have another one at 11:00."
"Thank you." I said nodding towards Linda walking into my office.
It's fifteen minutes until my first my meeting and I turned towards my boys. "Do you guys want to come with me to my meeting?"
"Yeah" they said nodding.
The meeting went fine, now it's 10:58. Two minutes until my next meeting.
At exactly 11 o'clock, there was a knock at the door.
"Come in" I said not looking up from my desktop.
Linda entered with a man following her.
"Ms. Woods this is Mr. Nathan Williams" Linda said introducing me to the man.
I walked over to Mr. Williams and shook his hand. "It's my pleasure to meet you Mr. Williams."
"Like wise" He said shaking my hand.
Looking at his face I could see he looks somewhat familiar but I just can't quite find out how.
"Take a seat" I said pointing towards the chairs in front of my desk.
He was looking for my company to help him market his new product. I agree only to get 60% of revenue since my company would be in public's eye.
Then it hit me. No it can't be him, could it.
