Chapter 5: The Past

     "I got him boss."

     "Excellent Barracuda. This is fan-"

     "What boss?"

     "W- Where am I? Where's Hiro?"

     "This isn't him! This is just that crying cube!"

    "Sorry, I got mixed up. . ."

    " Sorry is not going to cut it. I won't let you back here until you actually got him."

    "Yes sir."

     "As for you, I deal with you later. . ." 

     I woke up in tears. Around me was Limbo, Gear, and Beat.

     "Are you aright Hiro?" Gear wondered "You've been crying all night."

     "A- Are we going get Chloe back?" I asked, losing my breath a little

     "We promise to get her back." Gear stated

     "And stop being so mopey. She won't just come back. You got to save her." said Beat

     "And we're gonna help!" Gear announced "Right Beat?" She said while nudging the ship. As I saw the to vehicles fighting, I felt glad that I wasn't doing this alone. Though happiness filled my blue body, it slowly drained as I thought of the possibilities. What if I'm too late? What if Chloe is gone when we come? What if I never come? Limbo could see me stressing and I noticed and tried to act calm but he already knew.

    "Stop stressing Hiro. Chloe is a strong cube. She can survive for a while." He stated

    "Longer then the time it takes for us to get there?" I said, wiping a tear from my eye

    "Longer then that." Limbo answered. I smiled, it nice to know some people is this strange world. I still wish I knew more about it. It also doesn't help that I have no memory about this place.

    "Limbo?" I said. He turned to me.

    "What is this place called?" I asked. Before Limbo could speak, Gear over heard and told me.

   "I never thought you ask? This place was called Paradise."

    "What do you mean by was?" I wondered

    "This place is now called Dubulia because of Blixer." Beat added. Paradise sounded so familiar but I never heard Dubulia.

    "We also changed our names." Gear stated "My original name was Heli. Beat was Captain, Limbo was Lyro and Chloe was Cube."

    " But why?" I asked

    "Ever snice the takeover we need some new name because our old names were not very fitting." Limbo said. "Sure Lyro was ok but Cube, Heli, and Captain sounded dull. So I created Gear, Chloe, and Beat's names."

    "What would my name be in Paradise?" I questioned. Maybe that would give me an idea about my past.

    "If we're being honest, it would probably be Cyan or something." Beat said. Cyan huh. I thought to myself. I need to think about this a little more, so I asked

    "Can you guys go? I think I need some alone time." Everyone left my room and I sat on my bed, thinking about this Paradise and Cyan. Paradise. Cyan. I thought to myself. It sounds so familiar, am I connected to it? What if Cyan was my name, but I changed it to Hiro?  The more I thought about it the more my brain hurt. So I decided to sleep on it. I shut my eyes and fell asleep. I saw lights flashing black and pink. Then it stayed black and Chloe appeared. Soon she disappeared and I heard the sound of goo dripping followed by a scream that sounded like Chloe's. And I woke up.

     "I was just a dream. . ." I told myself.

If you haven't seen my announcement I can't write parts to this that much anymore because school and writer's block suck.
