Amity's POV:

9:30am

The rise of the sun shined in Luz's room, catching my attention. I slowly opened my eyes while yawning as I was facing the window. I checked the clock in her room. For once I get up at a good time. I turn around to see Luz trying to take my spot on the bed. I smiled. She was so beautiful when she slept.

I quietly walked downstairs to see Eda and King getting breakfast ready. King was eating a bowl of eyes while Eda was drinking apple blood and reading a newspaper. "Morning." I softly smiled again. "Morning Amity." Eda looked up and smiled at me. King just looked at me and waved while he was eating.

"Have any plans today with Luz?" The Owl lady broke the silence. "Yes, actually. We've been thinking about expanding our family. Luz and I want to have a kid." Eda choked on her drink a bit. "A what!?" She raised her voice a bit. "We want to become parents to our future child. We've been thinking about it forever. Do you know how to make one with magic?" I heard her sigh. "Yes, I do. But I haven't done that spell in years. "Why don't you guys adopt?"

"We've been to adoptions for a few months but none of the kids really fit in with us. I just wanted to know if you knew how Luz and I can spread our genetics. We can both spit in a bottle or something and boom. A kid."

"I see your point kid. I'll try to warm up my magic a bit. I know how you and Luz are, and I know you've been wanting to expand for years. King and I have to do some scamming at our shop, but when we're done, I'll work on it."

I smiled wide, running up to hug Eda. "Woah- hey." My action scared her a bit but suddenly she hugged back.

Luz's POV:

I woke up with a smile on my face, until I turn my head to see that Amity wasn't there. "Hoot hoot! Morning Luz!" Hooty said. I jumped on my bed as he scared me. "Wh- Hooty! Don't scare me like that!" I looked at him with disappointment. "Ok ok sheesh!" He moved himself back in his normal spot in front of the door.

I sighed before I got up. Changed out of my pajamas as I wore some decent clothes. Looked in the mirror to fix my hair a bit. I quickly walked down the stairs to see Amity and Eda hugging. "Awww look at you guys!" I said as I put my arms out for fun. The two of them separated as Amity blushed a bit from embarrassment. "I'll pretend like I've never saw that-" King spoke out of nowhere as he tried to put his plate in the sink. "Uh..a little help here?" He looked at me and Eda. I smiled as I picked him up. "Thanks Luz!" He turned on the sink to wash the bowl.

4:40pm

Eda's POV:

"Alright you two, King and I will be doing our errands now. Have fun going on a date or something. See you later." "Will do Eda! Have fun!" I heard Luz say as I closed the door. I smiled as King and I walked to our booth.

9:30pm

Luz's POV:

Eda and King were still gone so Amity and I decided to watch a romance movie. She told me she's never seen one so I found one for free on tv. I found it funny that the channel was called 'The Boiling Channel'. I chuckled to myself as I snuggled close to my lover. Amity hugged me as I snuggled close to her neck. "I love you Luz.." She whispered. I pulled my head away as I smiled at her. "I love you too Amity." I then pulled up the blanket next to me as I covered her and I. Then the movie was over, we both fell asleep.

Meanwhile
Narrator POV:

It was about midnight when Eda and King were home. They saw the two on the couch as Eda ran quietly upstairs to her room. King stayed downstairs as he laid down next to Luz.
