"Go get a drink, Julie."
I rolled my eyes as I said okay. I walked towards the counter, I noticed Scott Jensen in the corner. Scott was one of the most popular boys at school. 10th grade was really hard for me, especially since I was always in a shell. I was into chess club he was a soccer player, I liked minecraft, he liked FIFA 15. We were very different but I knew who he was. I grabbed a Pepsi from the table and sat down. I watched as everyone was having fun at Madison's party and I would rather be at home exchanging Pokemon cards with my brother.
"Hi." A voice from behind wispered.
I quickly turned around and noticed a boy with big green eyes getting close to me.
"Oh um hi. I'm...Julie, Julie Aaron."
"I know."
"You do?"
He nodded.
"How?"
"You're on the chess team... Want some chips?"
I shook my head. I was confused on why Scott was talking to me. Julie, the girl that wore converse, t-shirt's, and messy buns. The girl on the chess team.
"You're pretty." He said as his eyes observed me.
"Wha- huh?" I stared questioning the words that came out of his mouth.
"Just don't tell Rebecca."
"Who's Rebecca?" I asked.
"My girlfriend." He replied. I wasn't sure what was going on, if it was a dream, or if one of his friends had dared him to do this. Was Scott Jensen really calling me pretty? He stood up and walked away, and that was the night I met Scott.
