Jaelynn POV -

The person didn't whisper to me, but he didn't talk normally either. They said to be especially quiet and do as he said. I nodded yes to anything he said. But then it goes dark. The person was standing over me. He told me to hold his hand and walk with him. I reached for his hand, but then it was dark and I couldn't breathe. I think he put a pillowcase over my head. And then there were leaves and the night sky was over me; it was the woods a few streets behind my house. I went here with mommy every weekend. Then I heard the loud beep of the unlocking of a car.

JJ POV -

As we approached the yard, I could see Hotch pacing back and forwarth. He was acting as if anytime he was standing not doing anything represented a waste of time. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Morgan and Rossi coming out of the house. Once they got to where Hotch was standing no one wasted anytime.

"Okay so there was a sign of foul play in the room including -" Morgan paused and looked at me in the eyes."Ugh is it okay if she is - " Hotch interfered with him before he could continue.

"JJ is just as much of this team as anyone of you."

"Right. Um okay so I found that the lock was broken off the window, and the bed had a urine stain that is fresh."Everyone looked at me the moment Morgan was done. I distinguished my face fell no matter how much I tried, I couldn't bear the idea of what happened. After a slight pause Hotch spoke up.

"Alright, Dave?"

"This unsub has to be fit and average size to be able to fit through the window. As a result she wouldn't scream he must have revealed a weapon on his way in or as he woke her up," Rossi paused and looked at me. I was kinda annoyed by the sympathetic look everyone was giving me. "It wasn't a pleasant scene. With what we can predict, Jaelynn walked out with him."

"Listen, the detective is working on writing an invitation, but until then we work under the radar. An attack on JJ is an attack on all of us," Morgans phone started to ring. Right now knowing that Hotch was going to allow us to continue with the police softened the pain of knowing that I could oversee what was happening.

"Babygirl, your on speaker talk to us."

"Okay, so I looked into everyone that the team has worked on and zip. So I investigated Will's past and there was even less information that could be linked to this," when Garcia mentioned Will's name my heart dropped. Garcia could find out that she isn't Wills right when she runs DNA. How could I explain that her DNA linked to mine and some other guy from a different state?

"Garcia, look at convicts or escapees of the same - ugh victim type." Emily broke in before I could doze off too far.

"I am still digging, and I will tell you what I find. PG out," we heard the phone hang up.

"Hotch, we need a plan. How are we going to do this?"

"I already informed the techs that all DNA is to be rushed to our DNA lab and they know it's a rush order. We need to get back to the office and elaborate on everything that we know about with child kidnappers. I want Will, Henry and Michael in a safe house, and JJ if you think you can be with us."

"Thank you," somehow I thought Hotch was offering me a lifeline in getting to expose the man who took my daughter.

"Okay let's go." Hotch was already walking to Will to tell them what was happening. Rossi went with him. I think they thought I was further behind than I was as I heard everything they said.

"Hotch, Morgan and I didn't want to say this in front of JJ but, we think Jaelynn walked out of the house without clothing on. We found pajamas in the blankets, and traces of seamen were on them."As he was speaking his voice fell as if it was breaking.

"Get that to Garcia and tell her that it is an impairment that no one can find out."

I don't know what else they were saying as I couldn't gather the rest. How couldn't I hear? How could this happen? Who would do that to a ten-year-old girl? The car ride to the office felt like ten years had passed. Emily was driving, I can recall her trying to talk to me but I was too fixated on the road and how far my daughter could be by now.

When we walked in, I saw the board that was already up in the conference room, probably Reid as I saw the map that was being started. I walked as if nothing had just happened and as if it wasn't five in the morning with me running on no sleep. As I got closer to the room, I could see the pictures of my daughter and my family in a triangle around her.

"JJ, I didn't know you were going to be over here," Reid was working on connecting things to the two diverse boards.

"Where else would I be?" I was talking in a snobbish voice. When he looked up to meet my eyes, I knew that he didn't deserve the way I spoke. When I went to correct myself, we both went to start at the same time. "I'm sorry you go."

"No I was going to say that you were right."

"No you didn't deserve that. I shouldn't have conveyed that out on you." I took a few steps toward him. I didn't know where the rest of the team had gone, but it didn't matter. They were doing something to find her, and that's all that mattered to me. "What are you considering?"

"I am trying to find a link between the job, and Will's or anyone that is new to the area with similar MO. Garcia is still running a full background check on everyone within a ten-mile radius."

"Okay, um how can I assist you?"

"Did Hotch position you up to this?"

"I just need to do something! I can't stand the idea that she is out there and I can't do any -... Anything to help her." I croaked as I was speaking. After I was done, I looked to my side at the far wall to try and stop the tears from rolling down my cheek. Without any warning my hand that I had placed on the table suddenly felt warm. As I looked down, I saw his hand over mine. I gradually followed his hand to his arm, and then to his shoulders, up his neck and then meeting his eyes.

"I'm sorry," there was a slight break."We are going to find her; you know that right? No one here is going to sleep until we do."

I sniffed before I spoke, "Um I am going to run to the bathroom and then I will help you look." I twisted my hand from under his and fled the room in a hurry. As I walked to the small flight of stairs, I saw the team walking towards the room. At this point I was still trying to hide the fact that I was crying, but I knew I already was red and puffy in my face. The team was going up the far flights of stairs as I barely made it to the most intimate ones. My feet took over my body. I ran down the stairs and past the team. I could hear Prentiss trying to talk to me, but I had to make it to the bathroom before I could relax and cry.

My brain was thinking of five hundred things at once. As I turned the corner, I saw Prentiss was right behind me following me. Did it matter that much to me? I didn't barely have time to anticipate that answer. I was already within feet of the bathroom and there was no stopping the storm that was about to start.
