"A Trip to Santiago"
"Okay guys its time to get ready and packing, we've got a long travel ahead of us and a whole lot of packing and unpacking to be done when we get there".Mum shouted from below the staircase as I came down the stairs.
Jalien's POV
The sun light hit my face like a laser pointed directly at my face. "Damn' I said as I covered my face with my arm to avoid more penetration of the sun light.
"Rise and shine!!" Mum said loudly as energetic as ever. Mum continued "I told you and Laninia last night to be up early today but as usual you both don't, I mean come on sweetheart our flight is by 12pm and its already 10:25am" pointing at the clock in my room. "You and your sister always do this" mum nagged some more as I zoned out into my own thoughts

"Another travel?, To another Country again?, would this ever end, Fathers job is really destroying my social life. Almost every month we travel. *sigh*....I"
"JALIE" she shouted. I immediately snapped out of it and came back to reality. I took my arm off my face and locked eyes with mums deep blue eyes. "Did you even listen to anything i just said" she asked. "Uhm yeah" I lied. "Uhm , you know mom you are such a beautiful...."Yeah that won't work on me this time around" she interrupted.
Then she sat next to me on the bed and put a hand on my face saying "oh sweetheart, I know this constant travels hasn't been easy for you two especially with the fact that the friends you make are just for a few weeks time, but don't you worry, very soon it's going to be all over okay" I shook my head in agreement. "You know what, I'll let you on a little secret, After our trip to Santiago, the next country we will be traveling too will be the final place of our settlement for good, so no more travels!". " SERIOUSLY? YES!!,FINALLY " i shouted excitedly. Then gave mom a big hug and told her "you know, though we never wake up early on our own, you still trouble yourself to do so,thank you so much" Mum hugged me back "Alright from now on I will no longer wake up late" I said. She broke the hug and looked at me with the left side of her eye brow up. "Yeah sure,that what you've been telling my since you were 15, we both know that's never gonna happen right?" She said with great sarcasm.
I smiled, "wow mum, you know me so well". She smiled and stood up. " I'll go wake up your little sister now" she left as i watched her has she left the room.

"I never really knew what dad did as an occupation but what ever it was it made us move 7 time a year or more depending on how long it was" I said in my head as I drowned in my thoughts

Hey, Jalien here, so you all might be wondering why didn't we just stay in one country while he did the travelling. Well he has this thing of "everything is possible with family" - you get the joke right?. Sure you do.

I let out a audible sigh and sluggishly stood up off my bed to look out the window and locked eyes with myself in the mirror. Looking at my mixed colored eyes of sky blue at the left and Purple at the right. "Damn why do I have the weirdest eye colour. I guess its back to putting on contact lenses" I said as I sat on my bed and fell back on it.
I might as well get ready for another move. I sighed
*An hour later*
At last packed and ready. I better head down stairs for breakfast. I'm really hungry.
......
Now heading to the airport. Santiago here we come. ¿To think of it how would I even communicate with people there, isn't it a place of Spanish or something ?. I thought to myself as we drove closer to the airport
