" Beautiful flowers~ grow, grow grow!"

You murmured to the flower beds inside the school grounds while having a horrible attempt in making and singing a song. You wanted to partner it with a dance, but then you heard a chuckle from your side.

"T-Toge?! Jeez, you shouldn't surprise me like that."

Toge just laughed and went to your side, helping you from watering the flowers you loved. Both of you had a small conversation, but you were the one who is mostly talking. Partner it with singing, laughter, and the enjoyment of each other's presence.

You took a glance at Toge and started to admire his wonderful face. How cute his fluffy hair gets when they bounce with the wind, his brown colored eyes, and the serpent-like marking in his mouth that you asked him to show you.

In the middle of watering, you suddenly became thirsty, so you asked permission and went out to buy a cold coffee and water for both of you.

But truth to be told, you can't help yourself to smirk and blush from the fact that he was beside you. The first boy you fell in love with, Toge Inumaki. You were walking back and forth, trying to lessen your excitement and nervousness. But, one question popped in your mind.

'Does he like me back?'

You stopped and became quiet. You didn't know what to think or how to answer your question, so you went back to Toge and saw a crouching boy that smiles at the dancing flowers, making your heart feel like going up in the sky from the view.

You went to him and gave his water drink as he thanked you by saying, "Tuna Mayo." Because of his limited vocabulary, you fully understand Toge's words.

The two of you sat quietly and listened to the flowers and the air. It was minutes, but it felt like an eternity being with each other's presence. Suddenly, you saw Panda calling Toge out for some reason, while Maki immediately pushed Panda out and waved her hand while laughing awkwardly.

You can see her lips say, "Take your time (Y/N)." making you blush and look at the flowers. But as a concerned person the two of you are, Toge decided to go after them because it seemed very important.

"Are you going to follow them? I think they need you. I'll meet you back in the class. I'll be going to the cafeteria and grab a bite first."

Toge nodded and ran after them while you sigh and wave goodbye. You went back to the flower beds and touched them for a moment, and you decided to go and buy some bread in the cafeteria.

However, just as you were about to go. You felt warm hands pulled your arms. You looked back, and you saw a panting Toge, and his face became pink for some reason.

You became worried sick and asked him if he was alright. You grabbed his hand, but then you saw a flower that was in the flower beds that you took care of every day.

He quickly brought out the flower to you and was about to say something, but he stopped in fear that he might accidentally curse you. He mustered up his courage as his voice stuttered.

"L-L-Like!"

He gently gave the flowers to your hands, and you immediately turn red. You didn't expect him to feel the same as you do and like him back.

"I-I like you too Toge!"

You declared and breathed heavily. You took the flower from Toge's hands and smiled as he did the same and nods rapidly. Both of you stared at each other's eyes as your faces heated up even more. You decided to avoid eye contact for a while because of embarrassment, and you started to speak up.

"U-Uhmm, do you want to go to the cafeteria with me?" you caught a glance from Toge as you saw him smile and said, "Tuna Mayo!"

Both of you walk hand in hand to the cafeteria as you share a comfortable space. Not a friend anymore, but as a lover.

Little did they know, from the second floor, there stood a tall shaman who was watching the whole scene that took place.

"I knew it. What a cute pair."

The shaman put on his blindfold and jumped out of the window to embarrass and announce the new couple as he witnessed the whole confession.
