Prologue

Oh dear god. College.

So here's the thing.

I got into 3 schools right?

Well I chose which school I'm going to.

And I'm going to...

Oxford.

Yes I denied Harvard, and UC Berkeley.

I have dreamed to go UC Berkeley since I was little, and I really want to go to Harvard with Noah.

So to not upset one and make the other happy, I decided to upset both and do what makes me happy.

I think it's the right thing to do.

I have talked to Noah about it, and he said he will support me no matter what. We will have to keep long distancing, but that's okay.

But when I told Lee, he said fine and went on a "walk". I haven't seen him since and it has been 2 weeks. I'm really starting to get worried about him.

I was done packing, I had taken a shower and I was dressed. I just needed to do my makeup. I didn't want to put on too much so I put on some light makeup.

When I was done I grabbed my bags and headed downstairs.

I had to say goodbye my family first though.

"Dad?" I ask as I come downstairs.

"There's my baby." He says with tears in his eyes.

"Aw, don't cry dad, your gonna make me cry too and I am not redoing my makeup in a taxi."

"I'm sorry, I just can't believe my princess is going to college." He wipes away the tears from his eyes. "Brad! Come say goodbye to Elle!"

"Bye Elle! I hope you never come back!" He screams from the lounge.

I roll my eyes and he comes running from lounge and hugs me.

"Please don't leave Elle, it will be lonely here without you!" He whines.

"I thought you just said you never wanted to see me again?" I look down at him.

"I was kidding!"

I hug him tight and say "I will miss you too."

"I will miss you more!"

After I go over to hug my dad.

"I will miss you guys, but I'll come visit often." I said as I smiled.

"I'll miss you too. It will feel like an empty house without my beautiful daughter."

"Hey! What about me!" Brad shouts.

"Yes you're also very handsome, Brad." Dad looks down at him.

"Thank you very much." He says proudly.

"Well I better get going. I love you, bye!" I say as I head through the front door.

"I love too! Don't make wrong choices!" Dad yells back.

My taxi is outside waiting for me. I get in and we drive to the airport.

We arrive at the airport and I take my bags out of the taxi and head inside.
As i'm walking to check in, I see someone.
He looks familiar. A little like-...
NOAH?!

The person keeps walking towards me, and i'm starting to freak out.
Noah was still home, because he still had summer vacation. But why would he be here?

Now the person starts to yell something at me. Like their saying my name.
They look more, and more like Noah as they come closer.
Is it-?
It is him!

"Noah, babe what are you doing here?" I ask right before he picks me up and gives me a soft kiss on the lips.

"Well, I decided I'd go to England with my girlfriend so I can get help her get started."

"Aw Noah, you didn't have to do that!"

"Elle, trust me. I know how hard it can be to get started in college. You buy an apartment, then have to decorate it, and buy furniture-" I cut him off by saying,
"Noah, I really appreciate this, but you don't have to use the rest of your summer vacation helping me."

"Elle, I love you. And I just really want to be there for you all the time. Now, shall we go catch the plane?"

"Whatever you say, boss." I smile and take his hand as he leads me up to the check-in.

We check-in and have gone through security.

As were going through our gate Noah asks me, "Excited?"

"To be completely honest, I'm not. I'm really nervous, and I'm afraid of staying away from my family for this long."

"Don't worry Elle, you can come visit some weekends too, so don't feel like there's too much pressure."

We enter the airplane, and find our seats.

Noah had apparently his seat next to mine.

After a very long time we arrive in England.

Wow, I can't believe I actually lasted 9 hours and 30 minutes on a plane without complaining!

I was really thankful that Noah was here with me. What would I do without him.

We went to my apartment, and wow. It was gorgeous. Wide, beautiful windows in the living room, 1 big bedroom,  a small kitchen with an island,  and a beautiful bathroom.

I couldn't wait to start decorating.
