Hayes POV:
I stood up, how dare he talk to her like that, I was furious. I know she's not mine, but there's no way he was getting her either, I mean she's like 5 years younger than him anyway.
"Sorry, but she's not avalible later... or ever for that matter." I said bitterly while looking him right in the eye.
"Ya well I would like to hear that coming from her mouth not yours" he winked at her with a cocky expression, I could practically see the dirty ideas that were going through his mind. That made me even more mad.
I looked over at her, she looked nervous and she had a half grimace on her face "Umm sorry I can't, I'm really sorry that was all dare, I'm so sorry, I didnt think that it would go this way." She looked at both of us, she looked scared.
"Oh okay" he looked embarrassed and mad, then he quickly ran off to the back
"Ugh I feel so bad" Lesslie mumered while sliding back into the booth
"Well don't, he doesn't deserve you" I shot back
"Hayes calm down" Cam looked at me with a confused expression plastered on his face
"Ya, gees stop being so protective of her, it's not like she's yours either" Nash added
Lesslies POV:
I saw the rage flash onto Hayes face and he stood up shaking the whole table as he did so. He stomped off to outside.
"Really Nash!?!? You knew that was going to hurt him why would you say that!?!? now I have to solve the problem again! but you know what? I'm used to it since you guys cause this every single day!" I flashed him a dirty look then stormed off after Hayes.
I ran outside, my heart beating fast. I was hoping that he wouldn't do anything harmful to himself or others. Luckily he was just sitting on the bench by the road with his head in his hands. I walked up to the bench and sat next to him, he looked up.
"What?" He asked harshly
"Just ignore him Hayes you know he can't stop himself from saying those things. Plus I would choose you over that guy any day, any time, any where."
He looked up with sorrow and hope in his eyes "ya well I think he should get in under control, because he's messing around with the only topic that bothers me and he knows that. Also, I wouldnt of even though of saying things like that to him if he had to go through this."
"He's your brother, he's probably just trying to joke around. You need to tell him that he's taking it to far, I honestly don't think he realizes that this is a touchy subject for you."
"OK let's just forget it" he turned towards me and gave a warm smile that melted my heart, then he helped me up and we walked back inside.
When we got close to our booth we saw Nash looking at Cam with a worried expression I could hardly hear what they were saying but I could pick up a few things. "Am I........... Harsh..........don't.......know..........stop.........were........brothers........acting weird"
I walked in at that moment so Hayes wouldn't hear and they both stopped talking immediately. Around the same time the new waiter came in, luckily the man was at least 30. I had kind of lost my appetite so I just ordered a small salad while everyone else still got a lot of food.
Nash whipped out his phone and started to vine, then he slowly moved the camera over every ones food and apruptly stopped at mine, he moved the camera to my food then to my face then to my food then to my face again, I raised my eyebrows. With out a word he typed something on his phone and set it back down on the table and started to dig into his food.
I snorted with amusment then got onto my vine to see what he did. "#newpet just got a new rabbit so pumped" I rolled my eyes then commented on the vine "lol ur so funy ✋"
I started to eat my salad and I realized that it was starting to get really awkward and no one was talking or making any move to break the silence.
After a long mental confliction On what to do decided to break the silence, "OK this conversation is going to come up one way or another and I'd rather talk about it now than bring it up during the next argument, so spill it you guys." Of course its up to me to save the day again.
Nash and Hayes both looked at each other at the same time than both looked away quickly, which earned a grin from Cam.
I rolled my eyes " OK stop acting like four year old girls pouting" Nash gave me a indescribable look and I snickered.
They both looked at each other again and hayes sighed "fine guess I'm starting, Nash you need to stop making fun of me for the one subject that I'm sensitive about." Hayes looked Nash straight in the eye the whole time, I was proud of him
"Well then you need to stop over reacting about it" Nash shot back
"I wouldn't have to react to it at all if you never made fun of me in the first place. I'm sorry if I do over react but it really bothers me how your doing this to me even though you went through practicly the same thing and if any thing I helped you through it" Hayes was acting like the older brother, I smiled he would make a great father if he can already act out now, I frowned at myself for thinking that.
"Fine, okay, I'm sorry, can we go now?" I looked around I didn't even realize that they had already ate all of the food already. I looked up at all the guys, they were all staring at me. I looked down again and realized that I had hardly even eaten half of my salad.
"Not hungry" I shrugged and stood up as well as the other guys and we walked back out to the car.
