It was getting late and almost time for the twins to go to bed so we and by we I mean me and Sophia were going around telling her family goodbye. Lisa has been rude the whole time and I'm sure they wouldn't want her to come back over here so whenever they wanted to see the twins I would bring them myself.
My parents died a long time ago so it was nice that they still wanted to be the grandparents to the twins even though they weren't Sophia's kids.
"You bring them back anytime Mijo but leave the women at home". Sophia's mother said bringing me into a hug.
"Yes ma'am and thank you for inviting us again the food was great". I said and she waved me off causing me to laugh.
"Anytime sweetheart and thank you again for letting us be apart of their lives". She said rubbing Kristen's cheek.
"Of course, they wouldn't be here if it wasn't for your daughter". I said smiling down at Kristen.
"Can we go now like seriously I have things to do". Lisa said walking over with her arms folded.
"Hey, you guys ready to go". Sophia said walking over smiling as she patted Tristan's back.
"Please hurry and take her". Her mother said kissing her cheek before walking away.
"Let's go". I said to her ignoring Lisa.
We walked to the car and strapped the twins in before getting in the car.

"Why you always got to disrespect somebody". Promise said causing me to look at him.
"What are you talking about I came to this wack ass dinner didn't I". She said causing me to raise an eyebrow.
"WACK girl please do not make me show out in this car". I said laughing it off.
"You always trying to show off in front of Promise he doesn't want you babygirl". She said turning around in her seat.
"Show off for what baby if I wanted him better believe I can have him I been sparing you so calm down and I can definitely treat him and these kids better than you ever could". I said rolling my eyes at her and I heard Promise laugh.
"You can't take shit bitch". She said mugging me as I did the same back.
"Want to know something you are so fucking blind that you don't see what you have right in front of you". I said shaking my head leaning back into the seat.
"Ad what is that". She asked with an eyebrow raised.
"It's a man that loves you and is willing to do anything for you and you treat him like shit but that's okay because like I said I'm going to take your man". I said as Promise pulled up to my place.
"And like I said you can't take shit". She said raising her voice.
"That's a bet and have a good night Promise". I said getting out of the car.
Going inside I strip from my clothes and get in the shower.
After a while, I get out and get dressed and I could hear the front door opening.
"PROMISE IS THAT YOU". I call out stepping out of the bathroom.
"YEAH BABY ITS ME I GOT THE KIDS". He called back causing me to raise an eyebrow
Baby?.
Walking into the living room I see him placing the twins in the playpen I have set up for them.
"What are you doing back over here you just dropped me off a few minutes ago". I said taking a seat on the couch and he came over getting on his knees in front of me.
"What's going on". I ask with a nervous laugh as he grabs my hands.
"I want you I want to be with you and treat you like the queen you are if you would let me and I want to be a family". He said staring at me as he spoke.
" Where is all this coming from". I ask with a confused look on my face.
"What you said in the car made me realize how much I wanted to be with you, you're always there for me and the twins you respect me like I respect you and you go above and beyond for me something my wife has never done for me". He said rubbing the back of my hands.
"When are you sending her the divorce papers". I ask causing us to laugh.
"I called up my lawyer and it's being served tomorrow so what do you say you want to give us a chance we can go as slow as you want". He said waiting for an answer.
"I would love to give us a try". I said and he smiled big before getting up and taking a seat beside me on the couch.
"Will you be willing to take on the role of their mother". He asked as I lay my legs across his lap.
"What you talking about I am their mother". I said causing him to smile.
"You're totally right but what you want to do you want to watch a movie". He asked and I nodded my head.
"Yeah let's watch Fighting Temptations". I said as he grabbed the remote.
Once he clicked on the movie he laid down and I grabbed a blanket I kept on the couch and threw it over us before laying on top of him.
As the movie started I couldn't really pay attention because all I could think about was everything that just went down.
Hopefully, she signs the papers and we can move on...
