Mondo insists we came out here to train but I believe otherwise. Why would you come to such a beautiful place just to work out? I think he likes the idea of a picnic but doesn't want to let me know.
I laugh while thinking this and he grunts sluggishly.
"Whats so funny," he mutters while blushing.
Could he have known I was thinking about him?

I set down the blanket and basket. We sit down across from each other.
Mondo gets the food from the basket, he made most of the food in it. He's actually quite a good cook!
"It's beautiful out here." I say to break the silence, I'm not lying though. The flowers surrounding us emit such a soft and loving fragrance.

He munches on his sandwich whilst talking, "Chihiro."
"Yes, Mondo?"
He looks away and scratches the back of his head, "I got something for you." He hands me the gift, I can tell it was wrapped by him.

Inside the box is what appears to be a dandelion. The tag attached to the toy listed the following.. 'Unending Dandelion: You can blow the fluff away, and the string will pull it back, so you can do it over and over and over again.'

I feel my face turn red.
"Thank you, Mondo." I mutter.

I'll take really good care of it. I'll hold on to it forever...
