"Come one come all, to the greatest far in the land!" I exclaim, trying to sound innocent 'More like come one come all to get robbed.' I think to myself,"Do you think this will work?" Hellen asks,"These people can't be THAT stupid." "Trust me, they are." I respond calmly.
I wait for a little longer, then the village blacksmiths walk over,"This looks fun, you think we have time?" Alicia asks, grabbing Tomas by the arm and rolling on her heels.
He glances towards the clocktower, and turns to his co-worker.
"I suppose we've got some. But I don't think we should go into a tent owned by... thieves."
Tomas glares at me, so I smile, and take Alicia's hand.
"Well it'd be rude to have a lovely lady such as yourself waiting out here. So allow me to lead the way."
She giggles as I lead her into the tent. And when I stop infront of a carnival game the bright eyed girl places a 20 on the table.
Setting up the game, I check to make sure Hellen has Tomas distracted.
When I know he'll be busy, I loudly announce her participation in the game.
"Alright Alicia Griffin, are you ready to play?"
Hellen hears her que and slips behind Alicia, swiping her wallet while she doing something.
After she loses the game, I give a fake sad smile and gently guide her and her friend to the exit.
"Well that's rotten. Its quite a shame really. No worries, all the money goes to the school children anyway, at least you're helping the community," I lie, "I suppose it's getting late, you should head home." I shove them out and pull the flaps shut.
Peeking through a small gap I notice something.
"Hellen did you give that boy one of the cats we had at the petting zoo?"
