I sat there, seeing my wonderwall staring at me. Jake wouldn't move, his lips lightly brushing mine. "You got it, right? I trust you, Minzi." I wanted to kiss him hard, then he moved, his cheek tinting red.
So, this Superior created this whole world created by technology, so were science teachers a part of this bull? People are starving, eating Earth's Crust pizza, literally. It's burning hot, children dying from 3rd degree burns.
My father! I ran out of the lab, across the bridge, and into the white house. He sees me in a lab coat, and sighs.
"You dick! Why did you let the internet control the whole planet?! Faking wars and killing innocent people?! You greedy bastard!" I hit my own father. It felt good.
"Minzikaru, please. I'm sorry, but we have a problem. You are the only person who can stop this and repair the world. Don't fight me, fight the system." I felt weird, and everything went fluorescent.
I woke up in the lab with Jake in front of me, relieved. Great. He was worried. "Minzi, you alright? You fainted in the oval office." I nodded and grabbed his neck to help myself up. He looked at my lips as I bit them, and kissed my cheek. "Can I help you? Help you through this fight?"
I hugged him and nodded in the crook of his neck. I cried. I can't handle my English homework, let alone fixing the planet I live on. With Jake, I'd feel complete. With him, I won't be afraid.
He helped me to the bathroom and stayed outside. I braided my hair into two goddess braids and washed my face. I can still hear the screams of everyone outside. They were so terrified, and if they knew I was the answer, to their prayers, they wouldn't be so happy.
