Sonic pov.
I woke up to see Mephiles sitting at his desk writing something. "Mephy?"I said. He turned around and smiled at me. "Good morning my precious" he said. I stretched and started to get dressed for the day. I walked into the kitchen to see stacks of cash on the table. "Mephilies? What's all this?"I asked. He wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my cheek. "This is the money I made last night hon~"he said. "You made this in one night?"I asked. He purred and nodded. I wonder what his job is if he's getting paid this much? "Have you heard from my parents?" I asked. "What have I told you about them? They don't want anything to do with you. Let's stop talking about them and focus on us" he said. "I'm sorry, I just can't stop worrying about them"I said. Being in his arms didn't feel so great anymore. "Well stop, it's annoying" he growled. I gripped the bottom of my shirt tighter as we stood there. "Hey when's your 19th birthday?" I asked. He told me he was 18 but it seems like he's much older than that and he been 18 a long time. "Don't worry about it, it's coming soon" he said as he let me go. "I'm going to the mall wanna come?" He asked. I smiled and nodded.
