"who are you textinggg?" jaden asks, laying his head on my shoulder.
"nick texted me..." i say softly, lowering my phone so he can see the messages.
"oh. what'd he want?" he asks, ignoring my phone and focusing on the popcorn he was eating.
"just asking how i was and how we are, stuff like that, you know?"
"yeah... i'm sorry."
"for what?" i giggle, setting my phone down and running my hands through his hair.
"i don't know," he laughs, looking up at me. i smile before leaning down slightly and connecting our lips together. "i love you..." jaden says softly once we pull away. my hands immediately stop moving as i freeze in place.
"what?" i ask, making sure i heard him correctly.
"you heard me," he smiles. i smile softly at him as this was the first time he's said it. "i love you," he smiles, sitting up and making eye contact with me.
