Introduction
My name is Emma Marie Chase, and this, is my story. I'm not your typical teenager. I try to be invisible, and the only person I trust is my best friend Alexa. Thing is, my life's messed up. My parents are drunks and my boyfriends dead. The whole town knows my past and all my secrets within. Until, Jake Preston shows up at school..

I woke up to a very loud, annoying beeping sound. Realizing that it was my alarm I groaned and smashed the power button until it shut up. Sitting up I rolled out of bed and stumbled towards the bathroom. I took a quick shower, before blow drying my long wavy brown hair. It has a distinct colour to it, resembling a caramel colour and a chocolates colour. It's weird.

After I finished with my hair I went back into my room and picked out a pair of light blue, ripped skinny jeans, along with my All Time Low tee. It was the most comfortable shirt I own. I slipped on my black vans and moved onto makeup. I like to keep it simple with a little bit of gold eye shadow, mascara, blush, and lipgloss. I chose my light coral lip stain/gloss to put on. Grabbing my black leather jacket, bag, and phone I ran downstairs and out the door.

My best friend Alexa picks me up everyday for school since I was too lazy to get my drivers licence. I practically depend on her for driving me places. She's just lucky enough to have the chance to spend quality time with moi, cause you know. I'm amazing! (Note the sarcasm) I snapped out of my thoughts as I saw Alexa's red Sorento pull into the driveway. Running down the steps of our house I practically leaped into her car.

"Hey!"

"Hey. I'm so bummed! Why do we have to go back to school?!?!?! They're torturing us!" I groaned.

" Because we need out education. That's why." Alexa proudly stated.

"Since when were you smart?" I smirked.

Smacking me she replied, "Since always, you were just too busy complaining to notice!"

"Oh, whatever!" I mumbled.
The rest of the ride to school was silent. I watched the all too familiar scenery go by, as I tapped my fingers to the rhythm of "Don't" by Ed Sheeran. He's amazing, and honestly a ginger god! I'm a pretty big fan. This was one of my favourite songs by him, in fact, I even went to they're concert a few years ago and this was the opening song. It was epic! I went with Alexa, since we're both pretty big fans.

Next on my playlist was, "Time Bomb" by All Time Low. This was by far my absolute favourite song!
