We all matter

I was a child of poverty and in this world, different social classes, different treatment. That is just reality. We always give importance to the rich thinking we are lower than them and we have to win their side. I grow up thinking I mattered less than them because that is what society teached me. To always serve them first, to look up to them, and put their needs first before mine. We accept their verbal abuses such "you are dumb", "you are talentless", "you are stupid", because we felt like they have the authority to do so. That is where the problem is, we tend to lose our dignity thinking that their opinion about you matters than how you see yourself. That their truths are far more reliable than yours.  That what they say is what is right and we don't have any right to go against their judgement or even talk back because we are penniless or we don't have any degree.
The thing with society is that we treat people differently based on their achievements in life. Those who have graduated with degrees, we look up to them as if they are the sky and we are just the on earth. We respect them very much. I am no against professionals but society has to change. The farmers in the mountains are not treated well eventhough they produce food, low income members of the society are not given importance as if their worth is based on their paychecks. As if the diplomas are tickets for VIP in public offices.
We have to dismantle this mindset for we all should be treated the same, we all should be serve the same table and services. We are to be treated samely. People judging people with their inability to read, to order food in foodchains, to wear low class outfit or even with the tone of peoples voice. As if we measure people on the basic abilities and characteristic that we think is basic, but we did not fully understood diversity, the opportunities that we have over others, the options they have, and the kind of involvememt people are in society.
The problem with this kind of thinking is the fact that it did become a norm already which gives in effect of it being normal and giving the rich the authority to look over the poor.
We give them the power to step on us, to manipulate us and to kill future for us. We need to think again and march in for social change. Let us be radical and move in for equality for social standing and let us all be treated with indifference and give people the same opportunities and see people the same way. Our judgements should not be base on the look, the work, and their political standing and etc. But instead, to what is morally right.
