Day To Night

The team didnt have to play till Saturday so we had three days in Milwaukee of freedom. I only traveled with uncle Malik to Orlando and Charlotte so this was my first time in Milwaukee.
"Kid I have to have a diner meeting and I have some other things to do so I probably wont be back till 10pm. You can order room service but if you leave text me." Uncle Malik said checking to make sure he had everything and kissing my forehead.
"Yes sir." I smiled flipping the page to my book.
"Love you kid."
"Love you too." I put the book away as the door clicked and rolled over laying on my back staring at the ceiling. I started to think of what I could do when there was a knock at the door. I rolled out of the and practically tripped trying to open the door.
"Hi," I was a little shocked to see tyler standing before me. After literally running into him we had just said hey how are you, and I asked him to pose for a picture, but that was the most we had spoken.
"Hi Tyler."
"uh I was wondering if you wanted to go out for diner?" He rubbed the back of his neck showing he was nervous.
"Yeah I'd love that." his nervous demeanor turned to joy as I gave him the answer he wanted. "Give me 30 minutes to get ready."
"I'll come back and knock on your door." He said now excited. I smiled and closed the door walking over to my duffel bag dancing giddily as I unzipped it. I pulled out a black long sleeve shirt and khaki pants. I did light make up and left my hair down combing through my curls. by the time I was done swallowing my medication Tyler knocked on the door. I grabbed my key card and phone and taking a deep breath before opening the door.
"Hello Beautiful." He put his hand out for me to hold. I grabbed it pulling the door closes smiling. The restaurant was 2 minutes from the hotel so we walked. "Reservations for herro." He said to the hostess.
"Yes sir right this way."
"When did you make reservations," I whispered leaning into him.
"9:30 this morning. I was kinda praying youd say yes." I laughed as we took our seats. We ordered our drinks and looked through the menu. we both decided to order the same burger and fries. "how has Milwaukee been treating you Orion?"
"well this the first time I've really went around Milwaukee even though were just a minute from the hotel."
"Well were gonna have to change that." He smirked taking a sip of his drink
"Can I ask you a question?"
"Go ahead I'm an open book." He said leaning back.
"Why did you ask me to lunch? I mean you have a million friends on this team."
"Well none of them are as beautiful as you are, and you're alot nicer to look at the bam," I looked down trying to hide the fact that I was blushing. "And I've really wanted to get to know you. I always listen in on your conversations with the other guys and you seem like a smart funny person." He said as he waved the waitress over. "can I get the check?"
"I'll have that right over." as the waitress walked away he pulled out his phone texting someone. I just sat there playing with my thumbs.
"Alright were set."
"Set for what?" I asked.
"You'll see."
we left the restaurant and got in a uber which took us completely out of town. I looked at all the tall buildings and was so fascinated with the city. I looked at him confused as the uber turned into miller park.
"What is this?"
"Its where the brewers play."
"Baseball season is over Tyler." I just got more confused.
"You'll see." he said again and I just shook my head. we were greeted by a security guard who walked us to the tunnels and onto the field. There was blanket on the field and Tyler thanked the security guard as I walked over to it. "What's going on?" I asked.
"Lay down and look up." I did so as he did.
"Wow!" I said as I took in the night sky full of stars.

we laid there for a while watching as planes flew over and stars blinked "There it is?" Tyler said pointing. I followed his finger and saw what he did.
"Its Orions belt." I whispered. he put his arm down turning to me. I turned to him gazing at his eyes. we both sat up at the same time just staring at each other. He put his hand up cupping my face pulling me to him. As he laid his lips on mine I felt like stars were dancing through my body. I pulled away gazed into his eyes again smiling going back in for the kiss.
