"Sameer...", The stains of blood in the room caused a deep panic in her. She reacted quite loudly, screamed his name, and ran towards the washroom.
Thankfully he just banged the door but not locked it. Naina saw him standing in the shower cabin, with full jet shower on.
"Sameer..", she hastily reached for him.
Water was falling on his hair drenching him all. God knows, why he was standing in the shower, perhaps to hide his tears, perhaps to calm himself or perhaps to suppress the blazing bitterness in his heart. He was feeling betrayed but didn't have time to ponder over the situation even. All he heard that was no matter, all matter that his Naina was going away and it's her own decision, might be influenced by his mother but unknown to him. He couldn't even imagine that. The pain was unimaginably unbearable. Perhaps this was the reason that he didn't even flinch as his feet were badly injured, but Naina was twitching with his pain.
Naina screamed his name, hold his arm, and tried to pull him out of the water, "Sameer, please bahar chalo.. Mai tumhe sab batati hu... Sameer... Sun rahe ho naa... Sameer, Hamara baby... Maine bhut koshish ki tumhe btane ki... "
Probably, this was the nerve, she wrongly touched. He exhaled loudly and pushed away from her hand. Naina stumbled and slipped over the wet floor. She screamed his name and tried to hold on something, but seemed like going to meet a very bad accident. Suddenly, Sameer startled, he moved quicker than lightning, hold her waist and pull her to himself.
Naina got so scared of slipping, and when he hold her, she just clung on him holding his shoulders very tight. He too had the same fear, and hold her in himself securely mumbling, "sorry.. sorry.. very sorry Jaan... Maine aise kaise tumhe... Tum thik ho naa... Hamara baby wo...", he was mumbling coherently in her ears, but suddenly gasped as if everything that had been stripped before him a few minutes back, that came again to haunt him.
The truth was stripped, now laid naked before him, and his grief had now no boundaries. He looked at her petite figure shivering and drenching. With a sigh, he switched off the shower and took her out in room safely. As soon as they stepped into the room, he gave her a towel and started to leave. She peered at his back and said quickly, "Sameer, tumhare kapde.."
Neither he replied nor he stopped. Just then she again said vehemently seeing his nonchalance, "Sameer, Ek minute... Please pairo me dawa to lagane do... Please... Tumhe meri Kasam..."
Now he stopped, looked back to her. Naina sighed, and about to go to get first aid kit, but he himself pulled out that box, sat on the couch, and started to apply antiseptic on his feet. Naina quickly came closer to help him, but he showed his palm to her. She wanted to but couldn't say anything, but helplessly saw him flinching. She herself hissed when he applied ointment and bandaid. After the task in hand, he kept the box back and again walked to leave.
Naina knew the pain he was going through, and she couldn't see him this silent. If he screamed, shouted, argued then atleast his anger could be vent out, but his silence was haunting. It had more pains then one could see, but she could feel. She said softly to stop him,"Sameer... Hum baat kare.. please..."
Suddenly he stopped, turned and looked at him. The ferocious fire of unforgivable in his eyes was certainly too much to ignore or even tolerate. Naina trembled badly, but stood straight in a hope for him to talk something. Next moment, something flicked in his eyes again, and he sneered,"acha, to btao Naina ki kaisa lga mujhe dard me dekh kar bhi dawa naa laga pana.... Did you enjoy...", He left without waiting for reply as if knew that it would never come.
Her eyes widened, she gasped and somehow kept herself stood but sat on the bed trembling in mammoth pain.
