"Taesoo, I heard you are the top student once again in your class, congratulations... If you can keep this up, I can arrange you some classes here in Paris once you enter college" Taesoo sighed settling his phone down as he set it to speaker
"It's okay dad I don't need your help I can do this alone plus..." Taesoo paused trying to hint that he may not actually want to choose the career his dad chose for him though he is extremely talented when it comes to fashion, he isn't interested at all, close to his heart, he is actually a passionate author who could pour his heart and soul out on a piece of paper
"plus? Don't worry, your mother also agreed that i should take you in here in Paris" Taesoo ignored his father's encouragement and continued to face his laptop
"Anyways is your sister still at work? I can't reach her phone"
"she has a meeting this morning, it might not have ended yet. Father I have assignments to pass, we can continue our conversation later" Taesoo grabbed his phone ready to end the call but his father didn't reply instead he kept quiet before heaving a sigh that could be heard from the phone
"okay son, I'll call you later, yeah?"
"yeah, bye dad" Taesoo pressed the end button
He dropped his phone and stayed still watching over his laptop not moving even an inch, he isn't normally the type to be gloomy but whenever his father always mentions that he wants him to take over his work, Taesoo can't help but feel all the burden even though he isn't willing.
Flashed through the laptop's screen was actually a script of the first chapter of a book Taesoo published, after the call he still can't decide whether he should continue his love for writing or the steady path created by his father
He still has over three months to decide if he would like his book to have a series adaptation and right now, he can't even decide whether he would like to eat corn dogs or ramen
"Brother!" while Taesoo was having a crisis on his own, someone suddenly entered his room without knocking making him almost fall off his chair
"Sungjun! Knock next time! I was having an emergency!" Taesoo whined
"not now brother, there is a problem in the kitchen! It's the smokey incident all over again!" Sungjun yelled
With the door slightly ajar, Taesoo could smell a hint of burnt food and when his room is almost covered with smoke, the two quickly ran out of the room
On the way to the kitchen, Taesoo grabbed the fire extinguisher by the stairs that is only for emergencies
"Rubi what did you do this time! Come out of the kitchen and call the maids!" Taesoo barged into the kitchen, he immediately used the fire extinguisher on the oven and using a glove, he slowly pulled out whatever Rubi was trying to cook
It was a burnt turkey
"I got Rubi" Sungjun exclaimed grabbing Rubi's collar to make sure she doesn't escape
"this is the second time! And like last time, why the hell are you trying to burn a turkey! You cook them! Cook! Them!" Taesoo screamed feeling bad for the burnt turkey
"I watched a video online, I thought I know how to now... But the video was a scam just like I thought" Rubi huffed giving up on trying to escape
"right... Just call a maid and fix this whole mess up, we can just order food anyways, i want a cheesy corn dog and spicy ramen" Taesoo left the fire extinguisher on the kitchen floor before returning back to his room
Taesoo jumped on his bed and laid down comfortably, a slight smile appeared on his face, whenever he starts to have negative thoughts his siblings would somehow always be there to pull him out of his misery, as if they were trying to glue gun a smile on his face
