Up at a small house, on a small hill, in a small house, a small eighteen year old female by the name Miirai sat at the dinner table with her two adopted fathers and her sister who had gone blind a few years back, she smiled at her fathers.
The family ate in silence, the only noise that could be heard was the noise of wildlife from outside the house.
Miirai lived in a house with no internet,wi-fi,television,or anything of the sorts.
Miirais dads were strictly against the idea of internet.
The only contact to outside world Miirai was given was a small house phone she was able to use in order to get ahold of her school.
And her dads only owned that because it was the phone for the front desk at her familys camp sight anyway.
But Miirai didn’t mind, she was taught she didn't need the internet to have fun, she had the wilderness and wildlife around her house.
And also the campsite her fathers owned.
Miirai would love to go there and play with the young kids.
Miirai the kids liked Miirai, she found it so entertaining and intresting at the same time to watch the way they acted.
Miirai enjoyed the wildlife, she would go on daily hikes, or rather, nature walks.
Infact she knew her way around the 90 aker woods like she knew her way around her own bedroom, seeing as she grew up there and all, for almost all her life, the years she wasn't in the adoption systym that was.
As Miirai finished up the washing of the family's dishes, she took her sister to bed and helped her get settled in, than she left for the woods.
As the young females feet pounded on the woodland floor, alarming many creatures making them go back to their dens to hide.
A small giggle could be heard out of the mouth of the short girl who was running.
Miirai leaned over to the side with a wide smile, dipping her hands in the water.
The bandages that covered her legs got scratched open.
Miirai hated shoes, they where her worst nightmare.
The girl seemed to only be in what looked like a small white and red velvet dress, that barely went down to her knees.
Along with a matching pair of fake fairy wings.
As the girl stopped to sit by the lake a gust of wind blew at her shoulder length black and white hair.
Causing her straight bangs to slightly curled up.
Miirai seemed a bit confused at first, that was before she could see it.
Miirai could see the figure of a boy who seemed around her age.
Miirai smiled at him and waved...But he didn’t wave back, instead he started to run off.
Miirai chased after him, wanting to know more about the boy, she loved to make friends and she saw this as a perfect opertunity.
“W-WAIT!” the small girl called out.
Causing the strange male figure to get startled and slowly turn himself around, he tilted his head softly wondering what she wated.
Miirai smiled at him and waved happily.
“h-hello” Miirai panted as she tried to catch her breath from the running.
The boy waved a bit, hiding behind a tree shyly.
Miirai felt bad for startling him.
Miirai reached out to him offering her hand to help him back to camp, thinking he may have been lost.
But the strange thing just disappeared into thin air.
Miirai seemed shocked.
The girl looked away startled, hoping she would see the boy again.
Miirai wanted to know more about him.
NO.
Miirai NEEDED to know more about him,
Miirai had never seen someone just disappear before, she tried to lie to herself.
“maybe he does magic?” she said to herself in a confused tone.
Miirai knew that was a lie though.
Sitting on a bolder, she let out a sigh.
Miirai though as she started her long walk home so she could do some research on the mysterious boy before she had to go to bed.(( 688 words ))
